I've made it into the underground section, after Radar...
...which is I guess this is (close to?) the end section of the game...
...but it feels quite unbalanced compared to the rest of the game, in that I'm having to learn the level and grind through using savegames, and way too many bullet sponge critters to deal with... even with the creative use of 'fire trap' anomalies.
Pity - the pacing of the game so far seemed very good.
Edit: and having got through to the 'brain scorcher' stairs/walkways - I am stuck - I keep dying from the psi emissions trying to get through. Any spoilers would be very welcome!!!.... edit. ... scrub that, sorted it out.
Hey Henry, agree about spongyness. Thinking of just tweaking bullet damage.
I am not as far as you, but have a problem finding the healing artifact for Forester in the railway area in Rostock, did you find you find it?
So far enjoying the mod while waiting for Lost Alpha 1.4005.
I don't remember that quest, so sorry can't help.
Overall the bullet powers seem generally not too bad, at least for npcs, it's more that some of the creatures can absorb a crazy number of hits. I actually wore down and 'broke' an AN94 killing a stomper. Crazy!
I have finished the game now, the last part is suddenly crazily hard, with a few 'magic' conversations where taking wrong options ends all progress, and I had to resort to some armor editing to get through. I also had to learn the levels, something I hate having to do.
This was a shame imho as up until the last couple of sections it is an amazingly good game and very well made.
It's actually my whole particles unpacker folder compressed, unpack it with Winrar and then you'll have an unpacked AF3 particle folder along with an unpacked vanilla one and the unpacked tool along with the tool compressed.
Use the unpacker to unpack the particle file in the mod and add the crommcruac folder and then repack it back up with the unpacker.
As the question @ GSC text file shows the link for the tool and info originally came from Bangalore.
If the mod does not have a gamedata/particles.xr XR File just add the particle.xr file from AF3.

Basic tools are near the west entrance to the Duty base, and also in the Freedom base, maybe in a hanger.
