I think i will try Call Of Chernobyl because its artifact features like stamina and health restoration features. In Misery i collected Kolobok like artifacts but they didn't feature health restoration. 1,5 years later i arrived first time to Yanov Station yet. When i completed Misery 2.1.1 i will go back Call Of Chernobyl. Also if anyone adds radio feature (like Misery) to Call Of Chernobyl it will be magnificent. Because Call Of Chernobyl has multiple maps and it's great to listen some radio in different places.

I completely forgot about this mod and the last build I played was ages old, I think I actually pitched the idea for Azrael mode .

I also contributed some Folklore/Text and i'm trying to see if it's still in the Game with this latest build. I'm really liking it so far, even with the bugs!

Call of Chernobyl + Gunslinger mod would possibly be the ultimate Stalker experience (or very close) imo.

I haven't played for some time and now I see some strange tiny black spots/artefacts on the screen on the dark far away areas of the enviroment.
I don't see them on the sky or on the close objects.

Any idea what that might be?

Call of Chernobyl mod (Official Thread)

TLDV ( Too Long Don't View ) Monolith Player wins everything & Lives to walk away with it.

How to go to the Wish Granter and make the wish "I desire all the riches of the Zone" which normally overloads the Player with too much weight and the Player dies unable to escape the intense radiation next to the Wish Granter. This happens when every armor, every weapon, every artifact and every other game item ends up in your inventory. If you are carrying extra knapsacks, they disappear. The one game item knapsack you are given is disabled from being used. You simply cannot escape before you die unless you follow the procedure shown in the video.

First, place a couple of knapsacks on the ground where you know you can still reach them when you are overloaded. Go to the Wish Granter menu and choose "I desire all the riches of the Zone" which dumps everything on you. Start removing items as fast as you can from your inventory into the knapsacks. You must do this quickly before your health reaches critical levels.

Once you step away and use health artifacts to restore your health, you can go back and start taking specific items you desire for trips back the way you came. It may take 6 to 9 trips to take it all depending on what you had on you to begin with. The video ends after only my second trip back with a load as it wasn't necessary to show the entire ordeal.

Is this cheating? Not really but more of an exploit. I've been told this might have been disabled in the 1.5 version. The upside is if you are a Monolith Player, you can get that special armor you desire ( the Monolith Trader sells most every weapon or you can get what he doesn't in travel ) or those special artifacts you haven't found yet. I had no trouble getting all 3 toolkits in the north despite the lack of activated stashes but maybe you're impatient. I have not found a Svarog, Pellicle or Mica yet so those were the most desirable non-armor items to me personally.

The downside is you cannot remove the altered wheel and the altered insulator once they are placed in your inventory. This is a dead giveaway to others that you have used this exploit if you share screenshots or videos. The PKM on a mounted tripod also vanished when I attempted to "use" it by clicking on it's menu option. Additionally while my Companions did wait for me one time where I left them, repeated trips made some of them go rogue. You don't want to take them inside with you the first time as they may shoot at the psi mutant projections but after the initial wish is done, you could take them inside since the hallucinations cease.

In the end I decided not to enjoy this exploit in my current game. It took all the fun out of it to be given everything despite me really needing a Svarog or wanting to try out armors I've never seen before. It's up to you if this is a viable option. Just have plenty of radiation protection and I can't imagine anyone but the Monolith Faction could survive this scenario and walk away with all the loot.

Also getting this (visual artifacts) it seems to happen all the time with the Fuzz anomaly (the growth that hangs down from trees and stuff) they will flash all kinds of weird colours like bright blue and red (playing v1.4.2 patched).

I presume you've researched?. This seems to be a problem that's particular to your setup and could be hardware or software related - making it impossible to help you.
I would use free software to test GPU, CPU and monitor, it could just be an overheating problem which de-dusting might solve. After checking seating, try changing the GPU slot, borrow another GPU and see if the problems persists. If anyone here had had the same problem and read the post, I'm sure they would have replied.
Best of luck...

Can you post a screenshot? Using the word artifacts in a Game with artifacts
can be kind of misleading. Do you mean graphical artifacting which is
usually caused by GPU overheating? A picture is worth 1,000 words.

The Burnt Fuzz Anomaly has always given off the flashes and floating
stars or particles going back to the original game in 2007. However it's
effect wasn't as strong or harmful as we see now and I don't remember
seeing any red. The latest version is 1.4.22 so did you leave out a number?

About the visual artifact, it's not a hardware problem.
It happen also on close surfaces under some light circumstances.
You can see the effect on close surface here in this example:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CZkVEg5h_-M

It's probably related to shadows, texture or layers and how the engine handle it with its recent modifications.
Anyway, I reported it as something I noticed too and appeared recently.

My fault for not reading properly; when I saw Biffo's edit I presumed he'd noticed "visual artefacts" after posting about the spots and thought any reply's better than none, I apologise.
