Adding a new monster

Hi,
I'm trying to add a new monster to SGM / MONSTER.
I followed the instructions of Gatopardo reported in the forum.

I have also modified the following script files:
xr_statistic
g_script
sgm_ranks
sgm_save
news
rx_wmgr
_g

When loading the mod crashes and I receive the following error:

FATAL ERROR
 
[error] Expression:! m_error_code
[error] Function: raii_guard :: ~ raii_guard
[error] File: D: \ prog_repository \ sources \ trunk \ xrServerEntities \ script_storage.cpp
[error] Line: 748
 
_g.script: 550: table index is nil
 
lua stack:
   [4 | -1] (no value):
   [3 | -2] (string): `table index is nil '
   [2 | -3] (nil): nil
   [1 | -4] (table): table (FFD94260)
 
 stack trace:


This message should indicate that the clsid has not been assigned, ... I suppose ... but in xr_statistc I find this line

[clsid.spider_s] = "spider",
... and this is line 550 in g_script
[clsid.spider_s] = true,

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Hello amigo, did you fix that? I see that you don't say anything about

class_registrator.script

it's the first to change

I added the medwed a huge bear that can kill 2 giants on battle and
the mutant tar, a timid big monster able to kill anything in one touch when it decides to attack.

I'ill post the "mini-waves" version for Monsters in a few days maybe there are still some "Monsters for SGM 2.2" addicts like me for playing it.

Some changes for the "mini waves" version, using the RPG weapon become almost inevitable.

- A trip less "zaton-jupiter" to get access to choppers

- Cordon historyline will run different, taking ATP can be done at any time once you kill all the the bandits squads at the important places.

-Pripyat is a real battlefield between "humans" few monsters apart the ones in the waves, and its done without increasing the native population for that level as mostly the npcs go there by traveling to from other levels and nobody but mutants and zombieds can leave it alive before the x-18 lab mission is complete.

More that I don't remember at this moment

Hello Gatopardo

No, I did not solve it.

But I found the problem, exactly what you say.

In the meantime I added a lot of new mutant, fly mosquito bear, karlik medwed ... and other from http://stalker-mods.clan.su.

I have also increased the number of NPCs in the teams.
Now it's a real nightmare, I like it.

But there is a problem my PC slows down and generates a lot of errors like CDIALOG: HOLDER and _valid (* parameter-> m_rotation) decreasing the number of NPC errors decrease.

My PC has 16 gigabytes of RAM, a NVIDIA gtx 9600 4giga and a 4.6K CPU overclocked at 4.6g ... but it's not enough.

I could not find the poltergesit to add, those available on the site
they are not good, they seem to be in the old version for SOC.

A shame

By the way, I added booty to every monster, I think now they are over 20, I have to modify, if I am capable, sgm_dialogs.script and some xml files to be able to sell the booty to Trapper.

I take advantage of the fact that you are Spanish ... I do not know if you like football, if you are a fan of Barcelona or a fan of Real Madrid ... I am a Juventus fan ... in my opinion the penalty was The only decision possible, the referee made an excellent match. I'm off topic and I apologize but the opportunity ..

I may not be remembering correctly but don't both S.M.A.R.T.R 0.41 & C.O.C. have the SOC Poltergeist files you'd need in them?

Nashathedog, thanks for the tip, I checked in SMARTR 041, there is nothing useful but in COC I found the poltergeists.
Now I try to add them to my gamedata, hoping that they do not conflict with some other monster.

Monsters M8 Mini Waves

Ok, here it is

Only a 64 MB rar file

Install

This is done as a patch for M7-500, so install that one first then merge it with this M8 mini-waves, overwriting with the new files.


Whats new

- Many variations for mutants boars, flesh, snork, rats, tuskanos, deathclaws, izloms.

-Added Medwed and Tar mutants

-A gate to Cordon from jupiter, close to the place where the lost monolith squad is

And of course, the waves, 15-17 mutants squads patrolling their paths all around the levels, no matter what you do, they will find you anyway hehe. 3 tpes of those squads.

Be carefull
It's slow at the beginning, but the action will be growing as hell

weir error, looks like the file simulation_objects.script had a bad syntax. Please check out that file in ur gamedata/script, it must be the same that the one it the M8 unrar.

Also, that patch for AF3 seems to need an urgent update as the file xr_conditions.script is very old, that file is one of the main changes for M8.

I don't run AF3, I still use a AF2 with some funny additions where surges does not kill anyone but some npcs become zombies, cats, psevdosnorks, boryas, splinters.

But will add AF3 to my test folder to post today or tomorrow ( I'm -7GMT) the solutions to that
