yeah, my fault..I've some music to play by radio that you don't ..and that's deep in the configs\scripts..

please look for these files

gamedata\configs\scripts\SGM\darkvalley\sound_zones\val_b2_sr_radio.ltx
gamedata\configs\scripts\SGM\jupiter\sound_zones\jup_dolg_radio.ltx
gamedata\configs\scripts\SGM\jupiter\sound_zones\jup_freedom_radio.ltx
gamedata\configs\scripts\SGM\jupiter\sound_zones\jup_stalker_radio.ltx
gamedata\configs\scripts\SGM\pripyat\sound_zones\pri_military_radio.ltx
gamedata\configs\scripts\SGM\zaton\sound_zones\zat_bandit_radio.ltx
gamedata\configs\scripts\SGM\zaton\sound_zones\zat_killer_radio.ltx
gamedata\configs\scripts\SGM\zaton\sound_zones\zat_stalker_radio.ltx
gamedata\configs\scripts\SGM\zaton\zat_bandit_trader.ltx

and replace them by the ones coming with the repack

btw.. have you already killed any new mutant?

checked the radio isuue. the files for sgm2.2 in gamedata/configs/scripts/SGM/zaton/sounds_zones are different than the ones with the new mutties. I put the originals sgm2.2 ones and they work fine. I've also put all the sound_zones originals from sgm2.2. haven't been to jupiter and or prypiat but I assume the radios work fine since the radio in zaton now works as it should.

ps: just saw your post. that's what I've done, also since I have music from priboi (soc) in there as well.

If I added this download to the Repack and I then change back to the all spawn for the DV start will it work or crash? And if it works what wont work?

New mutants don't need the all.spawn file, that is only if you wanna get the new smart-terrain places working on your maps ( as said in the readme file).

Pls, check out if your rank is moving up when killing new mutants (as it should).

it updates the rank, no problem. however, when I went to check my pda in terms of number of new mutties killed I got this ctd:

We could look at Geo's script for the Pda and see how they added it in to stop this with there cut -out additions.

I would of liked to use this with extra spawn points and although the PDA issue will be fixed. I have not got a clue about all spawns and I dont want to lose the DV start option. But some extra muties is good still.

It's odd where you have added them as expected in pda script Geo has not but I can't see any mention of them so I will try removing them and will see what happens. I doubt it will end well but where have Geo accounted for them?

EDIT: It does not crash now when I look in the PDA, The reason it crashes seems to be because there is no room for a line 27 etc on that particular page. In Geo they have squeezed the extra muties on the first page at the bottom so I will have a hunt through the whole script to find where they put them and where they need to be put in Repack.

EDIT: I cant see them so I am gonna have to reboot Geo up and have a look at there PDA to make sure I am remembering it correctly but it is gone 3 in the morning so I will look tomorrow. If it needs solving still.

hey david.. there are several things in your message above. Will start by the easier ones.

1. The all.spawn with the extra spawn points starting at DV is not a big prob, I think I can compile that in some minutes. A good thing for testing stuff about those new locations is opening the file _g.script , looking for this

dev_debug = false
sim_debug = false

to switch both to true, this way all smart-terrain points ( and so all those new points) get visible when you check out your map in game.

2. I already fixed that pda crash ( that btw I almost never open those stats), and yeah some room is missed

3. I think Geo has not rank updated for killing any of new mutants class it uses ( cats, fractures and zombies) as there are not points for them in its file
gamedata\configs\mod_parameters\mod_params.ltx, only the usual mutants from vanilla have ( check out its [rank_params] section) like SGM does.
That's not a big deal though, who cares about a few points of rank less-

Hello, So what do we need to use for that crash not to happen. I have added what you gave us and I get the crash so what shall I change?

Would you be able to do the all spawn with DV please.

That's great thank's a lot I am going to give it a restart with this one and check it all out.

Did you figure why the music stopped playing with this. It stops in the Skadovsk and Yanov. Everywhere else is okay, Even the music played by Loki and Shulga works it's just Beard's and Hawaians that is gone. I have not checked Pripyat yet but places like the bandit base in Zaton and the merc camp there are all playing there music okay.
 
Each word should be at least 3 characters long.
