Personally, I understand why GSC disabled looting money from corpses. The game economy is already crippled by many factors. Still I tried it out and so far I didn't have any problems, works fine.

Technically, GSC didn't disable anything, since money looting was never in S.T.A.L.K.E.R. to begin with, but I agree with what you said about the crippling effect of too much money on the economy. This mod is quite conservative with the looted amount however; it's more of a touch of realism for those who think it's not realistic to loot a guy and not find any Rubles.

However, I still haven't decided if I'll even be using it myself. Kinda pointless, IMO, but hey, somebody might like it so...

I rushed the release -- the mod was causing live NPC's to hand over money to the player when spoken to. I uploaded the fixed file a moment ago; sorry about that.

Looks interesting, though not really useful applied to the the vanilla economy, IMHO.

If someone has some good ideas on how the economy can be made more challenging feel free to share. So far, reducing ammo drops is on the right way, and more expensive upgrades in smrter as well.

Also (and because i haven't tried this yet), are the amounts dropped relative to NPC "difficulty"? (example: zombies and monolith should be different)

Again, thanks.

Yes, the money drops are dependent on 3 things: rank, level, NPC community. I.e. you will not get as much cash from a rookie bandit in Zaton as you will from a Master stalker in Pripyat.

ammunition is based on factions and level, drugs are more or less based on rank.
*edit* oh, i thought this was a general question, the mod might handle it differently of course.^^

I've found it to be conservative and realistic...so far.

I like the idea, but it's completely unrealistic/unbalanced. Real life stalkers you would kill probably would have at least ten thousand RU each, which would be very unbalanced, however realistic. Give them only a little money, and that's unrealistic - I doubt most stalkers are going to be walking around with only a thousand or less RU when ammo clips require more than that.
