xrGame.dll decompilation

Does anyone know how to decompile that particular dll?

Yes, that's how far I want to go to fix those damn bloodsuckers.

I would suggest asking the creators of the patched xrgame.dll if that is a fix they could include. You would probably get lots of support.

EDIT:
Here: http://code.google.com/p/xray-extensions/

EDIT2:
Damn that I have to run with a CD crack to avoid wrecking my disc, this adds a lot of good stuff to the game.

AFAIK mnn mentioned they write assembler to get features into that DLL.
a quick google search gave me hints that i remember correctly:
http://stackoverflow.com/questions/1322194/how-do-i-decompile-a-dll-in-c
http://www.codeproject.com/Articles/4210/C-Reverse-Disassembly
http://www.program-transformation.org/Transform/DeCompilation

the dlls were written in C++? I assumed that in the search. The codeproject.com site seems to be very good for your "get the sucker out of bloodsucker"-mission.

Yeah, personally I wouldn't even touch stuff complicated as this, even though I have some really small experience with 16-bit assembler (Turbo Assembler exactly).

You could write to the xray-extensions project, but the only guy working on this, is adding features only to SoC part of the project.

Unless you know x86 assembler this wont get you anywhere.

But here it is anyway; the industry standard would be IDA: http://www.hex-rays.com/products/ida/index.shtml
This is one of the tools all anti-virus vendors use daily.
