if your using the games AA....there is really no AA in CS... it uses deferred shading again. your better off turning it completely of and just forcing your desired level in the Nvidia control panel.
I'm pretty sure the ingame AF doesn't work either because on my 280's it makes no visual difference at all. although if I disable it in game and force it through the nvidia control panel I see the difference.
also go to your user.ltx which is located in the public documents/STALKER-STCS and holds your savegames. logs, and screen shots open it and change r3_msaa on to r3_msaa off.
Its obviously an optimization issue,as games that looks twice as good didnt bother my pc when i had my 8800gts ---END QUOTATION---
Wow, Clear Sky may not be the best looking game, but I do think ATM it's in top 5. Where did you get a game that looks twice as good ?! You're probably one of the guys that thought SoC graphic's are dated, and still think - in a less proportion of course - the same thing about Clear Sky!
Freedom of speech includes the right to decide when and where to speak !
it's hard to beat the visual quality of Crysis at Maximum. details
IMO Clear Sky is still beautiful and in the top 5 as well...but obviously it's designed to be darker then a game like Crysis.Crysis really has it beat in the Vegetation department and the water department....but it has to it's hard to pass of a tropical based game with shit vegetation models and crap ass flat water.
damn Vegetation in CS and SOC looks really bland regardless of how high the details are.like ps2 bland ...everything else is fine though.
