Liquidator tests

hhiker~

I guess Tests 4, 5 and 6 are okay too. Test 6 was found to have more
locations than originally thought so include the other locations found.
I really need to get around to the last patch to see how much CS
changed since my last attempt. I'm really missing CS because
all the repeated levels from SoC are vastly superior and a
lot more deadlier than how I am seeing them in PS.

Would CS Test 10 with Patch 1.5.10 be more feasible if the numbers were reduced
to just acquire 1 RP-74 Machine Guns, 1 Tunder Rifle and 1 SVD/SVU Sniper Rifle?

I wouldn't say it's about numbers of specific weapons.
(Under 1.5.10 some moves are just not happening, period. For example, Freedom does not take any action after you complete the DarkValley storyline and just sits in the base; mutants only spawn in painstaiking one herd a day (on a good day) and only move on a narrow predictable trajectory between a limited number of "attackable" camps. I think the factions points of interest on terrain have been changed too, because Duty settles down as soon as they hold some specific points in Garbage.)
At this point i'm not 100% certain which "dead ends" might come from the patch and which might be related specifically to my game.

I'd say, it'd be useful to double check exactly which conditions apply with 1.5.10 and which do not.

In my current game, I've just finished up with the loot for sidorovich and am now simply getting rubles to fully upgrade the cs body armor, so am doing stuff in the swamps. Although I can say that I usually see Freedom go as far as the area with multipile loner corpses near the flea market, and also near the entrance to red forest from garbage. Duty I at one point in another game go as far as the actual entrances to the garbage from dark valley. One squad was in the northern entrance for a little while before being eliminated by Freedom.

I've had Freedom sitting on the entrance to Agroprom in v1.5.10 after completing the storyline there, and I've had Duty Break into Dark Valley unaided once (though 3 exo skeletons in the 5 man squad probably had something to do with it).

Faction war continues to a point, then waits for the actor to join in before continuing. Its luck of the draw. Duty does have a spawn bug which prevents their newly spawned squads from moving out until the Agroprom level becomes active, and Freedom does get hung up at the Factory in Dark Valley sometimes unless you add it in as a faction target (primary or secondary)

I have had freedom do stuff before I even entered Dark Valley, it only took a couple of days of sitting round in Garbage looting Bandit and Loner corpses before I saw my first Freedom squads. If you wait long enough, the game does tend to do stuff, provided your not waiting and watching

In short, no game plays the same twice.

The faction movements we spoke of in the context of Test 10 are related to the storyline develpments that come afterwards.
We already know of some specifics that the last patches have changed (for example, the initial Swamps campaign starts later than it used to and more time is given to complete it; Duty moves in Agroprom have been linked to different storyline key points than they used to; etc.). But we don't know for sure to what extent it would influence the test requirements that were worked out during an earlier test

ed: hm, missed Fluffy's post before. Yea, i've got the Freedom-stuck-in-factory-situation repeating in my game too. (That's why i'm not sure to what degree of the changed stuff, especially general faction passivity, is the patch's doing and where's that specific game is "to blame" )

That's good to know. Clear Sky's Marshes campaign was usually
over within a matter of hours and it was impossible to participate
in all the key locations. You were lucky to get about half of them.

So, does this mean you guys will be replaying CS using the latest patch to "test" if some of the tests heh, nice irony there, are possible .
Either way I've gotten the suit upgraded and am moving to the garbage, just after I do some loner jobs so the money builds up to a point where I can have 10000, waiting for me after I'm robbed.

Well I can't edit my own message (silly forum) but I can say that I found a place where 3 factions met and died (Task 4) Although they're not right next to each other but in the general vacinity. So you mind clarifying a bit about that, like how close they must be and etc. Im also on my way to agroprom to make a save to do the underground part. Ah yes and I emailed you Tejas, I think. Lol I'm not sure whether I sent them to the right person or you didn't check them, it's been about three days since I did but who knows. Ah and edit, I've gotten the bandit faction to about 65 percent friends which is why I've been delaying going to agroprom for so long, didn't want to get shot or have a red squad there for my way out. . Besides then getting to my stash would be to hard.
