Place to stash my stuff in Limansk?

So I gathered all my stuff together, and crossed the point of no return.

Unfortunately, this leaves me very burdened, I cannot run, and since my "fighting" armor cannot carry any loads, I have to wear my SEVA, which has no protection from bullets.

So basically I'm useless in combat until I can find somewhere to stash all the weight I'm carrying around and switch suits.

Is there anywhere to do this? Or am I screwed and have to drop items?

Ditch the seva, you won't need it much (If you pay attention) Or use a freedom or duty body, I think they're permabodies.

I can't ditch the SEVA. It's the only suit I have with enough carrying capacity (right now I can carry 130kg if I equip two Gravi's and a Night star).

The other suit I have is the Bullat and it has only 2 slots for artifacts, a very low weight capacity (60kg), and terrible protection from radiation/anomalies. So basically I only put it on in combat when I need bullet protection.

Items dropped on the ground will stay exactly where they are unless an NPC find them (in which case he might nick the weapons) or an explosion or something moves them. Limansk being rather linear means there aren't really any wandering NPC's.

Stashing your stuff in a corpse is a very bad idea unless you're absolutely certain it's a 'prema-corpse' (any items left on a corpse are removed when the corpse is).

You probably brought too much stuff though

probably! lol

I have a hard time deciding what weapons to keep and what to give away.

Mostly because I spent all that time and money upgrading them!

What weapons should I keep and what should I throw away?

Right now I have:
- Fully upgraded Druganov SVU
- Fully upgraded Druganov SVD
- Fully upgraded PKM-74
- Fully upgraded VSS Vintorez
- Fully upgraded Winchester 1300 shotgun
- Fully upgraded HK MP5A3
- Fully upgraded SIG 550 w/ grenade launcher
- Fully upgraded Groza OC-14
- and finally an RPG

lol
yes I know... too many... but they all have their advantages

I'm thinking to get rid of the VSS vintorez, shotgun, mp5, and SVD.

edit:
I found a stash from a corpse, small safe under a car in a garage. I think I will put some stuff in there for now. Should be safe right?

Lol. The sniper you get rid of is your choice (Though I would chuck the svd) Get rid of the vintorez, the shotgun, the mp5, and perhaps the rpg

yeah, I have yet to find a good use for an RPG. Enemies don't say clustered long enough, so it ends up killing one guy, maybe two if I'm lucky. Feels kind of pointless.

if you stay to the right coming out of the tunnel and move behind the bandit buildings you will come upon a large trash dumpster. inside is a pipe you can use as a stash. stow your stuff there until you figure out what to take past limansk.

you might want to carry a sniper rifle, assault weapon/gl, shotgun, pkm, rpg, and pistol. you've got extremely tough fights coming and you'll need lots of ammo

fyi - this guy can repair your weapons and gear before you move on, assuming you have the cash

If you carry two AR's, one for 5.45 and one for 5.56, then you won't have to carry much ammo as you can survive easily on what enemies drop. Then just pick a sniper / PKM or whatever if you want that option (you probably won't find use for a shotgun anymore, and RPG's aren't really worth the weight).

you definately don't need an SVD and an SVU, since the only advantage of the latter is it's reduced weight. And the MP5 is pretty much useless once you leave the swamps.

The Groza upgraded for rate of fire / handling and re-chambered in 5.45 makes an excellent option for close-quarters use in more cramped spaces, and you won't go short on ammo

thanks!

and wow, you are getting 90 fps in this game!?
did you just turn all the settings down, or do you have a superman rig?

Thanks Robo too!

Well I stashed a bunch of my stuff (including SEVA) and now I can move around freely in the Bullat suit.

I just realized I can't even go back to the stash I made after passing the construction site anyways!
lol

oh well... I guess if I play again I wont bother upgrading everything!

wish I could find a Goldfish artifact... I'm too much of a collector... haha
