---END QUOTATION---

Logical story would be that they turned right after the second disaster , everyone where ordered to put a masks on , but unfortunately it wasnt a much help.

There is too many buildins we cant enter in Limansk.I always want to go to indoor in any city maps and more indoor equals better map for me at least.
---END QUOTATION---

Agree with this one! What I've especialy disliked in SoC, and it happened again in CS, is that you've got snipers in the windows or on the rooftops, but you can't go there. If nothing else, than to collect the loot from their bodies. In both cases it was the city level before end of game (Pripyat andnow Limansk).

Same goes for a few other inaccesible points, and most of the time these are watch towers that have broken ladders in 50% of cases. What0s with the sniper tower (sorry, watch tower ) that has no ladders. Or with the buildings that have ladders that are always cut 2 meters above ground so you can't reach them. Than remove them, and just put walls all around (dooh!)

@rescue mission for next STALKER - sure, you could have stuff like in Crysis, you're constantly saving someone, but you never actualy save anyone Well, maybe one person at the end, so you can feel proud For example you find Strelok half-dead and you put it in the truck and than the truk takes it to Sidorovich, LOL!

Arrgh... too untouchable and shallow!

CS is too friggin chopped up and shallow to get a good replay value. So many things needing resolving and attention that it gets very irritating. Broken tunnels pathways and stuff, yeah they appeal and give lots of suspense, but they are left unfinished and don't give the player enough of immersion and place to wiggle around in. I want a more complete game with more tying elements.

Rostock Factory - The counterpart of the Army Warehouses level

Remember conquering the outpost in the Army Warehouses level for Freedom?
You were probably supposed to do the same with Rostock Factory for Duty. But sadly this level was cut out and now only remains as a multiplayer level. But there is even a pipe in the North-East of Yantar which could have been the level changer for it.

Clear Sky - Things not used that could have been

Cordon - The Vanishing Valley
Everyone has seen the Vanishing Valley. You can glimpse it's massive
size and beauty from a new area in the Cordon that was never opened
up in SoC. Go north of the Loner Main Base to the upper bluff where
you could never go before and follow the fence all the way to the Exit
to Garbage through the Checkpoint Building. As you travel that entire
distance you can see the Vanishing Valley over the fence to the west.
What you see is really there but going way back to the Loner Base and
going west from there and then north to the alternate Path to Garbage
you quickly come to another fence where the Loading Level Exit kicks in.
This is as close as Clear Sky allows you to get to the Vanishing Valley.
Everyone has seen the Loners continue past the loading point on your
PDA Map for quite some distance. They travel all the way through the
Vanishing Valley to an actual physical Pipe that is the other end that you
see in the Garbage level to the south-west of the Concentration Camp.
Imagine one of the few places in the entire Game where you walk in one
Pipe and come out the same Pipe in another Level. But for some reason
beyond comprehension this has been cut-out and made unreachable
unless you are an NPC. I can't think of any possible reason other than
the Emission/Blowouts where some people would whine that it is too
hard to deal with a Blowout in going from the Cordon-to-Garbage since
you had to walk so far using both Exit points going south to the Loner
Base. All the multitude of Valleys added to the Cordon, Garbage,
Agroprom & Dark Valley and the new upper bluffs of the Cordon and
Yantar are the best feature of expanding and drastically changing all
the old Levels of SoC that I appreciate the most. Makes the entire Zone
feel larger and more dangerous. The Vanishing Valley is the largest
Area in the entire Game as far as I know where the NPCs travel without
any trouble or changes from the original intent but we do not get to go.

More to Come~

Wow, thanks for the info TS! This secret zone is sure big. Just that I don't really think it's directly connected to the second level. I think you can get there using the twilight zone trick as well.
