BTW - did you ever get the campfire sounds ironed out?

I actually kinda cheated in CS with the campfires. I tweaked the script on them so, that they're always lit, no matter are there any npcs around. That way the burning sound doesn't seem so "off". Plus it's kinda cool when the pitch black nights are littered with distant campfires.

EDIT: Though if you meant have I made an new campfire sound, nope, not yet.

Naw, I was talking about the camps constantly playing the campfire sound - whether the camp is lit or not.

I've never been bothered enough to take the time to look into it . . . I've got too much else to address

Well, thats exactly the reason I made the campfires to burn constantly, sort of a workaround for the issue. But I might do some digging around the scripts to see if it can be fixed.

I'm not 100% sure off the top of my head (and not in front of my rig at home to check), but didn't CoP not have that problem? If it was fixed in CoP, there might be some scripts or script functions that could be borrowed . . .

Then again, I'm just throwing an idea out off the side of my head - no idea what all would be involved with such transplant surgery

Before Christmas. All sounds are pretty much done, the rest is just editing the ltx's.
