Editing weapon recoil animations?

Hey there, would it be possible to reduce weapon recoil animation lengths and / or the amount the weapon bucks up?

I'm having problems with my Mossberg 88, my rate of fire is far faster than the bucking of the weapon, making aiming impossible through iron sights at least, so I'll have to use crosshairs.

In the hands of a competent shooter, which I expect Scar to be, it really doesn't buck that much...just check youtube for rapid fire shotgunning if you don't believe me. Thanks!

Tried mucking about with the usual suspects (cam_relax_speed etc etc) but no effect, as well as the zoom_inertion_effector in effector, with no luck.

Part of this is due to the anims/camera_effects/weapon animations.

There is a tool called "ANM2LTX" which I think is available on but it's not easy to understand.

For more precise modifications of these animations you need to use the Camera in the level editor in the sdk, but I have no idea how to do that.
Each word should be at least 3 characters long.
