NPC's waiting to attack?

Hey I'm sure I tripped over a mod that had something about making NPC's hold off on attacking checkpoints until player was within 100m

Does that ring a bell with anyone who could point me to it?

Its a vanilla feature. If you have enough rep with a faction, and your close enough to an attacking squad (and have more rep with the attackers than the defenders), they will sometimes wait for you to either join the attack, or give the order. I've seen this countless times in the Garbage between Bandits and Duty. Like any good scavenger, when I see a Bandit squad moving to attack Duty, I tend to follow them. Sometimes, if I get their before the Bandits are in a position to attack, when they do, they wait for me to join in or give the order. Or if I bugger off far enough, they'll attack on their own.
The same is occasionally true in reverse. I've had instances where the Bandits are green towards me, and Freedom/Duty are straight neutral (0 rep), and when Freedom/Duty move to attack the Bandits, they'll sometimes yell for my help

Oh! - ok - damn! - I must have misunderstood something I read and took it to mean there was a mod to keep NPC's from attacking any of the hold points until you could attend and take part.

I might try vanilla faction configs just to refresh on what my tweaks have changed.

There is a key u need to press. I think its "K" to give order when they ask u. Check ur controls.

Yeah, I know about the attack key... - what I've been after is some way of having the NPC's hold off making any attacks unless I'm there to be involved.

I've been using a modified set of faction configs but ended up with too many squads on the go - so have just reduced the spawning frequencies and now have time to get where the action is (simple fix I should have thought of a long time ago).

Update: it was the Lobstris Defensive Task Mod I was thinking of.
