Is there a way to make artefacts always visible ?

Hey guys

My question is, if there is a way to make the artefacts always visible.
So that i dont use the detector to find it in anomalys.
I mean that the player can find the artefacts like in Shadow of Chernobyl.

Is this possible ?

Yep.

Set af_rank = 0 in the config sections, IIRC.

Would this work on Lost Alpha too?

Unfortunately, for stupid reasons, Lost Alpha uses SoC's system for artefacts.
They are always visible !

I understand that they are always visible, however some are much more visible than others. These are the ones that I am inquiring about. I didn't think that this idea would work on LA. Just wanted to pose the question. There have been posts regarding the addition of detectors in the LA forum, but no one has suggested this idea. Again. just wanted to see if it was a viable option. Thanks

Well, some are more visible because they emit light or have more eye catching models, shaders, textures or particle effects.

I dont think this change will make em more visible. A model replacement or more light emited from them will probably be better.

I believe adjustment of color and luminosity is the same for all three games:

artefacts.ltx

lights_enabled = true ;false Lights On/Off

trail_light_color = 0.4,0.4,0 RGB Color Values
trail_light_range = 2.0 Range of light in M, Higher is Brighter
