Barbwire, Wire Fence and Water.

This is simple.

i keep getting the black effect @#$p with the wired fence and barbewire and the water is straight texture, example the water is blue.

ive tryed the original textures. ive tryed useing various other meshes (original). and the shaders in the level file (useing hex) points to the default shader.

this is only in the new levels taken from builds. theCoP taken levels dont do this problem.????

any suggestions?

Because its a build level, its draft quality, and hence the dev's didn't bother to fix up these little things at that stage.

mmm so its not a mesh,shader,texture or something i can fix within.

its ok, ive tested difrent waters, the swamp one works fine. and for the fences and barbwire, il have to invent something else in its place. like for diffrent maps. like a wall of human body parts, horror baby, horror. haha

oh well.

Just curious - what video hardware do you use?

It looks similar to issues I ran into when trying to "fix" the ATI fence-rendering problem. Strangely enough, it only affects DX8/9 (not DX10.1), and only on certain maps (i.e. marsh, but not Cordon).

yes, the vid card did cause me issues with adding certain build to the mod. not alot with adding the CoP but with SoC.

PS; SRP mod is used, but not needed with my new ATI card of over a year ago. but i left the SRP shader stuff in my mod, for others.

Also, after fixing the shaders and some other stuff, i release 2 test versions with some levels and no one reported a problem. i ran tests on all dirx settings etc.

again, il be back after todays work, with a bit more info.

PPS; i dont think its what your thinking. but maybe.

It was just a thought. The alpha channels in CS seem to be screwy based on whatever map your on.
 
Each word should be at least 3 characters long.
Search:    
Search conditions:    - spaces as AND    - spaces as OR
