Wow, 1.8 is out! I want to try it, but I'll have to wait a bit. I haven't played CS since I got Windows 7 and after installing CS it looks like the copy protection won't read the disc. Kind of frustrating that I'm going to have to find a crack or something since my the half-assed copy protection thtinks my retail disc isn't legit.

Anyway, I'll leave some feedback once I get things running. TFW has been awesome in the past, and should go down with the greats like AMK, OL, Priboi, Lost Alpha, ect. I commend your guys effort.

All you have to do is go to the TAGES website and download the latest version of their drivers, should work fine after that.

@ Smoq ~ have you considered setting-up a ModDB page?

Smoq, I find a little bug when you ask at beging to go to Clear Sky base ... seems if I ask to go there the player dies by unknown reason (after dead it apear light starvation icon) ... This "bug" seems to be randomly

@ RoboMook - Nope, I refrain from posting on more respectable(hope nobody gets offended) services untill the final version is ready. Did the quickfix help you out?

@ xRatx - Strange, it's natural that the player gets hungry while travelling atomatically, and since Clear Sky base is the farthest possible destination, hunger icon is right where it should be. Strange that the player dies though, as hunger only influences fatigue, not health. Will look into this.

@ orbitor - Thank you, you're welcome. Just make sure to apply the quickfix after the installation of the mod.

Ah, fair enough, I can see why you might want to wait until the storyline is done before advertising it heavily. The quick-fix seems to have done the trick, haven't come-across any major issues at all, just a minor issue with a couple of the PDA maps (I think a couple are saved with mips as they're not displaying correctly after reducing my texture detail setting). I'm just about to test it out, I'll upload the fixed files a bit later.

Gotta say though, great job , the mod just gets better and better with every version, it already feels 'solid'

@ RoboMook and Jamie1992 - Glad you enjoy the mod guys. I guess v1.8 can be branded a solid success. Praise from veteran modders like you guys is worth its weight in gold. Jamie your error is a random engine flux, trying to send an npc to a place he can't reach. It's not governed by scripts so there is not much to be done about it. TFW only made it show since vanilla didn't allow the full potential of CS. On a side note, we dropped the idea of Pizza Hut today in favour of chinese .


@ Delta30 - Sorry, crappy CS engine. Can't do anything about it. Should not appear more then once though.
