TOO Many objectives at once.

Hello all,

I am just starting another STALKER playthrough, but this time I am starting with CS, and working thru. Considered PreSky but ....


Anyway, the only mod I am using, is Clear Sky Complete 1.1.3 .
I have restarted 5 times and keep gettting the same general things.

When I start the game, do the first mission, back to base, then sent out again, almost as soon as I hit the swamp, I hear calls for help from fishing village and CS troops being attacked by boars. and almost simultaneously a hurry up message from my main onjective (the power plant ? ),

Within just a few seconds, I get more calls for assistance. If I go to fishing village to help out, I get calls and objectives for the church, and before I can even reach the chuch, I get calls from southern farmstead and the " mechanics yard ". A check of my PDA stats page shows 20 or 30 objectives and 15 or 20 failed or cancelled.

And this is all within just a few minutes of game play.

I read somewhere a few days ago, in one of the scripts or LTX files, something about a distance trigger that activates new objectives or something like that.

Can these "triggers" be adjusted so tjhat I have to be a little closer before request for help are sent out.

I swear I dont remember STALKER doing this before.

Any help or suggestions is very much appreciated.

That is far too many. I usually have 1-3 capture missions at a time, and 2-5 Clear the road missions when starting off, and it dies down fairly quick.
Usually 5 missions, quickly narrowing down to the missions to take the Machine Yard and Southern Farmstead.
I'd imagine that Complete is at fault here.

I do not know what is at fault, but I do know that I played vanilla the first time, and Complete after that. Complete is a great mod,

I restarted again last night after posting, this time choosing Stalker instead of Veteran.

This time the game played more "normal" and in one night of play, I am at the "rookie camp" in Cordon.

Thanks again for the response. My issue seems solved, but would still like to understand why playing at stalker level instead of veteran would have such an impact.
