The only forum that is dedicated to this mod is Russian, and nobody that I know there speaks English, also talking about modifying Reborn is a bannable offense there( I am not kidding) so I doubt you'll get my much help. The thing about the stroyline becoming unpassable if you modify Reborn is that I never really tested it out, I just decided to play it safe, and passed the mod without any modification. That being said, if anybody has any trouble with this mod I'll try to help.
By the way, I have a warning to people who are starting a new game: Do not go the bridge at Zaton, if you go there you will have to start a new game.(You will actually need to get to that bridge in the end of the game, but you still have a long journey till then.) |

I've been playing this mod for a bit. Came to the Clear Sky Base and joined them.
Now I'm stuck, not storywise but gameplaywise. The Clear Sky squad that's light green (the one taking over points) Just doesn't move out of the fishing village in I've killed almost all Lone Wolves in the Swamps. I also don't get them mission to "Hold and Capture" just the "Eliminate Ennemies". So my lazy squaddies are just sitting around the Fishing Village, giving me quests to grab their Miniguns, apparently they're too busy... *sigh*
--> David you joined CS as well, didn't you? Are you having the same issues with the squads?
Now to the gameplay; Wow what a mod! Till there is some explanation you'll be wondering what the heck's going on. This is not your regular mod, it's a complete Overhaul and I mean complete! Even though tons of new stuff have been added, I haven't had a single crash in about 3-4 hours of gameplay.
I've found a few cool things don't want to spoil anything.
Tips:
This game has quite some start. You get thrown into a hostile world. If you see squads that look yellow on the map, don't get too close if possible.If you have to, prepare to run! Snake-lines are helpful. They for some reason like to turn hostile.
If you approach a bandit position holster your gun and freeze if he tells you to. I recommend even if he doesn't tell you to. Had some problems with the dialogue so all of sudden a bandit yells "Drop him!" Just stand still if they aim at you.
If you got a shotgun (double barrel) you can take out 1-2 mutants in a group if there are more leg it.
If mutants close in on you and manage to hit you once, you're a goner. There are some rough effects if they hit you, sometimes you can't even run.
Try to trade something in for a Wound Restoration (Anti-Bleed artifact) it'll come in handy as you get heavy bleeding very fast. |

So I've figured a couple of things out:
1. You'll have to do some missions outside of the swap that Clear Sky starts acting like a faction
2. Pay close attention to the loading screen, there are some real important info there, sometimes only for 5 secs or even less
3. ESC + F2 or F3 (don't remember it right now) is the faction menu, kinda like in Factions Wars. Only extremely confusing but there you can spawn the "Z-Team" that's supposed to be like your bodyguards it seems.
Edit: Basic Explanation of the Menu:
"%of the Team: Number" & "apply" How many of the stationed units should be active 100% all (except base) 0% None
"AI of other fractions"; "Disabled" self explanatory; "Normal" clear sky default; "Hard" alot more active and makes the most fun; "Unavailable" effects seems to be very hard, the name is scaring me a little though.
"|formation" gives you a short summary of the situation
"Spawn squad" self explanatory, but costs money and spawns named NPCs (?)
Sometimes the squaddies get bugged and just stand around like mentioned above:
Setting the orders in ESC+F2 Menu to cancel then back to expansion or what they were before fixes this problem
4. You may not be able to alter the mod directly, however you can put modified files into the corresponding location in the gamedata folder (like David mentioned somewhere) |

This mod certainly throws you in at the deep end, i dont know if missed something but what tells you to head to the swamps? theres no active tasks in my pda, got to garbage so far and about to enter cordon, got lucky in agroprom with the merc camp on the hill and traded an rg6 i had from a zombie for an exoskeleton, still its been hard work, are stashes safe in this mod or do npc's loot them? used the pipe near the garbage bandit base where you retrieve the bottle for bandit |

If i join clearsky will there be somewhere friendly to do all of the armor and weapon upgrades that the bandits technician in the garbage did as on joining clearsky the bandits all go hostile (well on the map they do) could really do with a guide |
