They blew it with faction wars in CS so hard, that players would hang them by the balls if they even announced it again in CoP, so they had to mark the idea as "never even think of it". They paid the price for releasing cs too early.I really like the fw scenario and it was a wasted potential.At least you managed to
fix something that would have been gsc´s job.The walkie talkie system
just works perfectly and every cs mod should have it cause in nearly every mod you have to wait ages for a squad to move.
Btw:how to turn off the breathing effects ?? it really starts to get on my nerves |

I was finally able to get to those textures. let me apologize for not being specific on the bump map problem...it was the Bump# that had an issue along with the original texture uploaded with the mod. I had an issue opening the bump# into GIMP, so I used an alternative Bump# (which seems to work fine). One issue I've noticed with the bump# was, it was an awful dxt1 conversion. I usually try and keep textures and there bumps in the same compression format... i.e. dxt1 or 5. as for using dxt3, I really don't see the point, as in most cases dxt3 and dxt5 are usually relatively the same size, but dxt5 (imo) is a better quality. dxt 1 is fine for textures that are hardly seen or to save graphic memory vs eye candy. I uploaded some comparison screen shots along with the textures (both dxt1 and dxt5). My 3 year old has been very needy as of late, so I hope I didn't mess anything up or miss something while doing so.

I went through some of the Textures pertaining to the Black texture issue. I was able to find and fix one of them. The one issue with the Clear Sky skin was "act_stalker_neb2_a.dds", seems that I wasn't able to open it using GIMP, So I opened it with PainNET and re-saved it as a DXT5...loaded the game and tada. Hope that helps.
OH and BTW, The Bump(Lightmap) map for that particular Texture should be re-done, as it does not match that texture.

Hmm, that's odd. If you don't mind I'll re-export that texture in a couple of different formats and get you to test them. The bump-map is fine though, matches the texture perfectly.
