One thing has been bugging at me, the faction and army guys in Depot in the bar area, what is their purpose anyway?|

@deathknight: They will give you a job if you're in their faction at a certain point in the storyline. That, and to show that the Depot really is a "neutral ground" for all factions except bandits (cause they're jerks) |

@ Lord Santa - There are 3 possible reasons for those errors:
1. Faulty installation of TFW.
2. Faulty installation of CS.
3. You didn't patch the game to 1.5.10
4. You're using a cracked version.
The error you mentioned says that the game cannot access a file called mob_home.script and it assumes the file doesn't exist or doesn't register in the global("_g" script. Clearly the file is there, and clearly it is read most of the time in your game, hence my conclusions.
Reinstall CS, patch it to 1.5.10, and install TFW again. If you have a cracked version then the problem can be caused by something I wouldn't be able to fix anyway.
it's a brand new installation, patched to 1.5.10 and this time without the crack, which was why I re-installed it a couple of days ago
as I mentioned this error, as well as any others I get are not frequently occuring, but rather random and sparse
I just figured you'd want to see the error-log for it
I've not had the same problem occure twice, apart from a couple of C stack overflows, or whatever they're called
nonetheless the rest of the mod is going smoothly and I have (as you adviced me to) not changed the TFWsettings file itself, but rather changed all the parameters needed within the game
whatever caused this error may have been (and probably was) completely random and not a nuissance, I just figured you'd want as many error-logs as possible
I just defragmented my disk yesterday, which could be a possible explanation, as I installed the mod prior to that
I'll re-install and let y'know what's going on in the future
as a side-note, since I've changed the settings so that the factions respawn much more frequently the Zone is finally becoming the faction war that I've been longing for, so at the moment I am very pleased with how the game progresses
I play as a Loner (just became a Loner) and am on my 7th day
Duty and Mercenaries are having a total war-fare (no pun intended) at the Agroprom and Bandits are expanding and trying to enter the Army Warehouses
I did notice an odd thing, upon entering the Warhouses for the first time, however
there was a group of Bandits, whom stood and greeted me upon entering (one of them spoke to me) and as suddenly as the game had actually loaded that area, all the bandits fell to the ground and died
I reckon that they were aready dead when I arrived and that the game hadn't had time to properly handle it
it should however be noted that no enemies, nor mutants were in the vicinity, which leads me to believe that they were killed before entering the Warehouses (from the Garbage); but the Garbage exit to the Warehouses is guarded by Bandits
I think it was just another random hiccup of the game and nothing to worry about, nonetheless I'm just calling 'em as I see them
I installed Patch1 first (when it was released, and then patch2, which might also be one of the reasons for it's strange behavior.. I'm doing a complete re-install and will let you know)
