- Also heard you may add Rostok. WOuld be a challenge.

I agree with everything you said, this is currently the best mod for Clear Sky and one off the most impressive mods I've played, thanks to the complex scripts and features it uses!

PS: Anyone has the annoying "Cannot find disk DR1?" It's annoying as hell and I have to close the game's process =\

This was the mod that made me get back in to Stalker. Really enjoyable, thanks smoq for creating such an incredible piece of work.

Just a couple of things, I was wandering where your thoughts are at with Red Forest and Limansk. I saw that you thought that Red Forest would make for a good mutant breeding ground, which I totally agree with. I actually fought my way through to the outskirts of Limansk with myself and 3 other Duty Squads (making good use of the radio). Also, is there any way to get into Limansk via that bridge, or if not are there any plans to?

Haha, ah. That may be the case, but I've always admired Clear Sky's A-life system as it allows for mods like these which were attempted for SoC, but due to the nature of offline combat couldn't function the way they do here. Best of luck though

"Being worked on" is an overstatement at the moment - I am stuck on trying to make an alternative system that assesses NPCs vision...

...and I highly doubt I will get unstuck. Those damn engine limitations!

This is probably the one mod that I'd stop playing Lost Alpha for to play instead. At this point I believe it's the only mod on the English side of the forums that's still being worked on for Clear Sky. Just wanted to say thanks Smoq for all your work on it thus far, and thanks to all the other people who worked on other mods for this and the other games, it's been fun seeing all the crazy things that have come out using the strengths and weaknesses of each engine.

@ Freke - I have a different concept for Controller vs NPC combat already implemented, but not yet released.

While I like the idea of turning stalkers into zombies and it could be implemented, I feel that this is not exactly how they work according to the lore. At least not with my interpretation of lore.

I created a specific system that when an NPC is fighting a Controller, it periodically screws up the NPCs friend/foe system, basically mixing it every couple of seconds.

It means that for a brief period (5 - 20 seconds) some of the NPCs friends can become foes and vice versa.

It actually works pretty well when squad members start to fight each other near a Controller.

Do controllers hurt NPCs? Squad of soldiers just walked into a controller camp and I stood by and watched. It kept making the screeching noise, but no one actually died. I'm curious if the zombify powers of the controllers would work in Clear Sky.

Also, is there a way to turn on tracers for weapons? I've already tried changing tracer = off to tracer = on, no dice. :/

Okay, so after digging through countless google searches, apparently tracers don't work on dx10/11. I will go cry now.

aye; TFW is one of the most interesting S.T.A.L.K.E.R. mods out there, regardless of engine, if you ask me
