@ Jone - It seems your faction wants to send a squad from the Clear Sky base to the Pump Station. This is strange, as Clear Sky is suppose to spawn squads at the Fishing Hamlet, and leave those in the base alone. I have no idea how a generic squad found itself in Clear Sky base, but here's a fix:

Put it in gamedata/scripts. It basically adds a path between Clear Sky Base and Fishing Hamlet.

Has anyone else experienced this problem?

smoq2, the script worked, thank you.
However, I played an earlier save, and no crash and suspect the following:
I took the 'take package' mission to the Army warehouse from both Csky and Defiant traders. The Merc trader at Army warehouses only accepted both packages verbally, but my inventory showed one still on me.
Crashes then occurred after I'd returned the Heavy Box to Csky Trader.

Hate to throw more things at you, but was I supposed to start a new game after applying the latest patch?

If not, then I recieved a CTD as after I took the guide from the Loner base and now every one of my saves is corrupt.

The latest version actually fixed a bug of sorts that made ant NOT recruitable... which TFW version are you using exactly? if it's 2.5, then you can recruit him only after taking out the first faction. You'll get a message that Ant wanted to talk to you, and is waiting in the depot.

Crash here. I've got patch 1 installed and messed around with the options. I basically made the factions including my own (And I'm not in one yet) all spawn at intervals of about 300s if memory serves, made mutants take up as much territory as possible and increased the amount they could attack at. Put the random patrol chance and max number of patrols up quite a bit. But left the artifacts alone. I've also disabled the Hud you guys have. Anyways, here it is

I'm guessing it has to do with the silencer on my Akm. I can send a savegame if you'd like but hopefully it's a simple mistake you didn't notice or something like that. I'll go try shooting it at the monolithians I ran into without a silencer and see what happens.

Yep, turned out to be the silencer. Hopefully this helped out a bit.
