SRP v0.5 BETA

This is a community effort to address bugs still present in the game after patch
1.5.08. this is NOT a Mod - its a project to fix obvious and annoying bugs in the original game. all content is kept original, as best as possible.
Any help with this project is appreciated - we look for more fixes\issues to be
addressed. found a bug? come to the project thread:

Finally remade the weapon icons.. now everything is merged and packed, ready to be tested. thanks for the help here, Decane.
Also, if any author included in the list of fixes doesn't want his work included in the project, contact me. as far as i know, all fixes here are free to share and use. i gave credits to all modders and if there is a mistake - contact me\post here.

The PDA map pack has its own little bug.
The permanent bodies from Freedom soldiers are not shown on the mini map.You can miss some easy loot and stash info from that.

You may also want to include Gosuke's weapon mod:

Fixes animations for winchester and lr300. You'll have to merge his w_wincheaster1300.ltx and w_lr300.ltx files with the ones that you included from my mod.

About my iron sight positions, I did not modify the aim_hud_offset_pos_16x9 and aim_hud_offset_rot_16x9 values so I'm not sure if those using 16X9 resolutions will see any change.

I want to share one more annoyance remover (read: NOT a "fix" by definition), which should address Clear Sky's grenade spam problems. This mod has the following features:

Probability of all game characters except those listed below in the 'exceptions' category to spawn with F1 grenades in their inventory is 10% per grenade, and for RGD5 grenades it is 15% per grenade.

Exceptions:
- Arena combatants
- Clear Sky
- Strelok

EDIT: Clear Sky guys have a 40% and 45% chance to spawn with F1 and RGD5 grenades respectively.

I thought this mod might be a borderline candidate for an optional component, although I will not object if it is left out of SRP. In the case that it is included, just holler and I'll make an uninstaller for it.

Hey Angus McFisticuffs, why not include wide screen support for your ironsights fix? that would make it helpful to everyone. common, do it

lowenz, no we still haven't got to that yet. if you find a fix for it, drop us a line so we could integrate it into the SRP.

About the optional mods in SRP v0.5 BETA, i think we should make them OFF by default, and include batch files to enable each one, to the user likings. SRP v0.6 BETA is on the way
