General is one of the military guys you kill in the carpark during the quest to get the box for Sid (He has better armor then the other military guys there and usually uses a pistol for some reason). However the flash drive will NEVER be on his body.
---END QUOTATION---

With patch 1.5.08 on an otherwise vanilla installation I found the flash drive on his body.

Nice, so much for missing flash drives.

Well, the fact that I don't have an issue with this bug doesn't mean that others don't. It could be that I just got lucky.

The flash drive that is missing is the one you get from Drifter.
The general flash drive was also missing but that was patched back into it.

I'll look for that next time I start a new game. But in the config files it is correctly configured, no reason for it not to work.

Someone want to test this?

I put together a little compilation based on the list Marked_2 created:

Core:
+ Vandals Immortality Fix - Vandal
+ Fixed-up ironsights - Angus McFisticuffs
+ Artifact Respawn fix - pavlov
+ ATI shader bug fix - MacroN
+ Float32 SSAO performance patch - jjwalker
+ No Annoying Flashing Disk Icon - Decane
+ Professor Beanpolev Audio & Dialog Fix - Decane

Optional:
+ No Startup Movies - Decane
+ Transparent Inventory - Decane
+ PDA map pack with point names + blue dots for bodies 1.2 - LuxZg

The flash drive fix is missing since I don't know which one to use (there are so many on STALKERFiles), and I haven't tested the fix yet so I don't know if it works or not (it should).

There are 3 batch files included to remove the 'optional' components, which are all enabled by default.

Hi guys, im back.
Decane, i see you have a little compilation for us you are the best!
So i managed to find the weapon icon fix buried somewhere.. did a little tweaking to some items as they were a bit different from original.

I remember the FLOAT32 mod from SHOC, as i recall it offered a better image quality with some performance improvements? am i right? or is this a SSAO only patch?

Well, at the moment, Float32 for CS only addresses surface specularity and SSAO issues (as far as I know), and it supposedly improves performance quite a bit. However, it only works in DX10 mode, so it won't really do anything for the majority of low-to-medium config owners until jjwalker ports the stuff over to the DX9 renderer. However, I thought it'd be good to include it in the pack anyway, since it does improve performance (and image quality too) for those who play in DX10 mode.
