So the list of possible fixes is:

1. Vandals Immortality Fix - fixes random and unpredictable death of important NPCs like Drifter and Hound, and Merchants\Technicians.

2. Angus McFisticuffs's Fixed-up ironsights - Some weapons ingame have a wrong ironsight alignment, making aiming akward and difficult. this fix aligns all ironsights perfectly.

3. Artifact Respawn fix.

4. WIP sound perceive fix - a fix for the annoying state in which enemy NPCs can see and hear you (and shot you) anytime (night especially), from a large distance, making effective sneak-ups and tactical attacks obsolete.

5. fix for missing flash drive in cordon (thanks willytilly).

6. fixed textures for items in inventory, to reflect their actual model look.

7. ATi shader bugs (missing barb-wired fences and camo nets) and distant blurring (thanks Decane).

Thanks alot guys, we start to see a progress.

I have been using this fix since 1.5.04 and it works.
Everything has been fixed in patch 1.5.07 except the Flash drive.I can confirm it still works

I am still on 1.5.07 because I am currently testing a mod but I have no doubt it works on 1.5.08.

I dont think graphic packs are needed.It should not be extra heavy for computers.

That mod supposedly fixes ATI-related shader bugs and distant blurring of terrain. It also speeds up sun-shafts by hardware acceleration.

So for now the list of fixes we can incliude (ofcoure we still need permission from authors - will be done soon):

Fixing broken/unreasonable stats, scripting typos, misaligned elements and so on is more to the point in my opinion.
I saw a thread about NPCs noticing and attacking you from a far and inside bushes at night, while you can't even aim right, and a possible fix for this issue. thats something that when tweaked properly, might be a huge feat in a gamefix mod like the one we discuss here.

Any more issues you guys have that can be looked into, please list them here. the next stage is finding and collecting existing mods which already address issues ingame. any help here is also appreciated

Okay then you should probably add Vandal's immortality fix for Drifter and Hound.

I have another issue. If I run through an anomoly field to get an artifact sometimes the anomalies just push me around until I die. I try and run out but they oush me around from anomaly to anomaly like a ragdoll. It has prevented me from getting very many artifacts.

It should include this fix the artifact respawn fix and change the claer sky faction so that they are actually CS rather then a mix between loners and CS.

In addition weapons should be like they were in SOC with freedom having only nato weapons (lr300, sig550, g36) and duty warsaw weapons (abakan, groza, ak74).

In additon renegades should have different outfits then being a bandit ripoff.
 
Each word should be at least 3 characters long.
