Yasti's Main Menu Quick-Hard Save.

This was posted for Misery mod [COP] could this be modified for use on all mods?
I realise that quick-saves corrupt but hadn't appreciated that once corrupted they could corrupt all future hard saves.

"Yasti's Main Menu Quick-Hard Save" create an Automatic Hard Save in game by pressing F5.:http://www.moddb.com/mods/stalker-misery/forum/thread/yastis-gameplay-tweak-compendium.

ZRP has this along with automatic level and time based save names. It's quite straightforward to merge into most mods too.

That said, had anyone confirmed a difference between a quick and a hard save? My impression was that they're the same code and the only reason a quick save is somewhat liklier to show corruption is that you do them more frequently. Ie, it's easier to do them when the game hasn't finished initializing and so you get bad state.

Thanks for the reply; the only code I know a bit is morse code so I'm sure your right.
There must be good reason for hard saving as the all those clever mod devs recommend it.
