I got a Zboard Fang recently, which allows me to bind multiple keys to a single key. This helps me a lot with the low crouch issue, which I found quite difficult before.
The suggestion by the original poster is a good one I think. Ubisoft shooters on consoles work this way if I am not mistaken.
---QUOTATION--- I don't think it's a good idea to prone..... lets say a bloodsucker is coming behind you while you're picking some bandits. Just imagine how useless the prone position will be in situations like this. ---END QUOTATION---
---QUOTATION--- Well, that's the natural trade-off. A smaller target profile in exchange for less maneuverability. It's called making a tactical decision just like any other in-game decision such as which gun to use, which ammo to use, whether to fight or flee, etc. Obviously proning will be more useful in some situations than others.
Although I know how useful is the prone position in todays warfare I don't think that is good in the zone, the zone is a living world. You're not in there to fight against soldiers or insurgents or a specific target, you are just a stalker. In the zone maneuverability is the key to survive. But anyway you're also right cause it's your decision how to live in the zone. ---END QUOTATION---
i think that if i want to prone when getting in a gunfight... i should be able to... it's the most fundamental tactic to being harder to hit.
ok how about this... from now... every first person shooter should have the day of defeat controls as default. it should be the LAW!
I agree with you to 100% A_LONE_HOBO, ditch the low crouch and add prone possision...the talk of that it should not be useful in the zone and it is to dangerous due to bloodsuckers sneaking up on you is not validated, you chose your tactics for the specific location and environment you are in.
