i think there is a church in the game, near cordon just after the bridge.

but also though not EVERY animal in the zone would attack you, plus it makes it feel a little more real, dogs going after rabbits or something other than each other and you all the time, or a blood sucker hunting a deer would be pretty cool.

all I'm saying is not EVERYTHING has to be hostile towards you

Agreed. I never though of that; Bloodsucker hunting a deer which is safer to hunt makes sense.

Yeah, I think the idea of a thief monster would be good. It could be a source if secondary quests, like if you talk to someone who's had their weapon stolen, they give the option "Hey, can you get my [item] back?"

It would be nice if you didn't have to kill them - maybe they deposit the items they steal in an out-of-the-way 'nest' or stash.

I dunno, I think I'd prefer to see something else big and scary running amok with a desire to claim "territory" which he viciously guards. Starting from where he spawns and the surrounding 7 meters. This expands by 5 meters every day. And I mean, you'd need some skill or heavy weapons to bring this beastie down. Something that could swat 5 military or 5 mercs down with ease. This beastie likes to horde stuff too. Making sure to pick up anything that looks important. His stash may have many rare treasures gained from his patrolling and conquering.

It'd sure be a good reason to have co-op or hireables/friended stalkers =D

So kind of like a Gollum from Lord Of The Rings? lol...steals things and hoardes them to himself and possibly will kill you? lol

none the less I like this idea. but I think it should have the ability to temporarily blend in with it's surroundings like a chameleon.

I know they say the blackbirds survive the radiation and chernobyl conditions but I think it would be cool to have some sort of mutant flying creature that attacks you? Not sure what any of you think about this idea.
---END QUOTATION---

Yes, someone must make a mod with more cool mutants!

LOTR That's what I thought of too. Like a chameleon or a bloodsucker. Would be cool to actually have to Stalk some prey for a change vs them always coming to you.
