Motion sustained, seconded and carried. There is no game community to rival that of the Stalker universe. The plethora of directions taken in the wealth of modifications, total conversions and entire new games has no equal.
But be careful with that pride stuff - it has a habit of showing up just before the edge of a precipice. There are even old sayings to warn of it. We should be proud, but we should do it quietly, and constantly testing the solidity of the ground where our next steps are to meet it.

Well, while not a huge fan of Oblivion, I think it their modding community completely dwarfs that of STALKER (or any other game). Just look at the number of downloads or files being offered on nexusmods. And they have plenty of large overhaul mods too (some with completely different timeline/stories). It's mind blowing!
Too bad that game (and series in general) has such a sucky engine. Whomever implemented LOD for TES games should be shot, and resurrected, and shot again.
