Dezowave Appreciation Thread

With so many negative threads about things not working, I think there should be at least one which communicates to the Dezowave team just how much we are appreciative of their efforts on this mod.

The purpose of this thread is to state what you like best about this mod and any general thanks to the dezowave team.

1. I love stashes. They actually contain useful loot and no longer are spammed as in SHOC.

I love the new take on the levels I've seen so far and the general sense of immersion in the zone. It's just great to be playing a fresh Stalker again!

Hip Hip HOORAY!!!

Awesome Job, Dezowave. Having an awesome time w/the brand new trek through the Zone. LOVE LOVE LOVE what you've done for us, and even if I sound like I'm complaining about the bugs, please know that I totally understand and it doesn't diminish my appreciation.

That said, though ... for now I've put it down to wait for at least the foot bone fix. I can't take the immersion breakage of the constant crashes from that error anymore. It's really bad in teh Wild Territories (or metal fab or whatever it's called now). Try going behind the trains where the snorks are sometime ... It still occurs even w/no actors legs enabled, btw

I'z also really hoping the patch will make the repair/upgrade system work ... any chance of that, or is that too much work to get going in the first patch?

Would like to say that I highly appreciate the work that went into Lost Alpha and that the old maps have finally been brought back. They feel much more authentic and remind me of places I've been to.

While expecting all the old features to be added back into the game might be a bit too ambitious and might not have been fully realized, this project does bring back the old feel of the alpha and I personally am enjoying it.

Thank you for the hard work, Dezowave. I hope the bugfixing isn't too stressful.

My one regret is that I was too busy to volunteer to help back when this was in production.

Nice to see Siro back and many other old veteran Stalkers. Only "Lost Alpha" could do this and I also Thank them for that.

Playing Lost Alpha is almost like playing S.T.A.L.K.E.R. for first time again. I was looking for experiencing such chance again some day and now LA did it.

I've nothing but praise for Dezowave; not only did they manage to perfectly capture the Zone in every possible way, but it also looks absolutely gorgeous with Directx8 (static lighting)

cracking job so far & pity its a bit buggy but it working ok to carry on playing. plus the bugs are getting sorted out by the great LA team & some other non team members. so it is nice to see a lot of folks working together to make this mod \ game great & maybe the best mod out of the stalker series.

thank you all
