NPC sleep at night

How to make that NPC would go to sleep at night something like in Monnoroch AI but more stable if possible. I've tried Monnoroch AI, but npc react kind of strange.

If the npc would be able to sleep I think the stealth would be more interesting

Hmm, I did like Monnoroch AI very much, used it in my mod along with almost every other AI mod I could find and I didn't experience any major issues. What makes you think that npc react kind of strange? Btw, you can configure various things in that mod to fit your favor.

Making something similar on your own probably would require writing a custom scheme the way Monnoroch AI does it. Not very easy and time consuming, but doable.

Why do you need the Monnoroch AI to make an NPC to go sleep?

It's a simple vanilla gulag job.
With gulag scripting and defining sleep waypoints you can do this without ai mods. Just like the escape novice camp members used to sleep.

Look for sleeper scheme in logic:

Hmm.... Ill try what Bangalore suggested with gulag scripting.

Because in Monnoroch AI NPC would go to sleep in the middle of the day and as I remember, when I had that AI mod, the NPC would just sleep no matter what happened, every single NPC would sleep even the military guards near bride.

Ok, try with that. Although I doubt it could be as dynamic as Monnoroch's. Btw, in my case NPC's never went sleeping during the day. But it's true, the scheme needs to be modified to make them behave "smarter".

NPC sleep at night

One time I joined the Freedom Faction before I went to the Dark Valley.
All the Bandits were neutral of course and when I visited the X-18 Lab
I found several asleep with some snoring. One of them was even having
a terrible nightmare and was crying and whining in his sleep. I could not
believe what I was hearing. Most people miss this in the Unmodded Game.

Got that also Tejas. Since then I almost, almost think twice before shooting a bandit

Yes, that is true... that dream is executed by 2 or maybe 3 bandits... assuming they don't detect danger.

I think I recall this as well, there's probably some script in the vanilla game that causes them to do that. I think that would be where to start when it comes to adding this to more NPCs.

Why the sleeping AI has the psychic capability to detect while dreaming ? And why they keep the headlamp on, "Fear of the Dark" ?

Fiddling with the visibility parameters shows that sleepers "see" the actor better than the non-sleeping AI. As if they are obeying to different visibility parameters. Even if it is the same level of detection, it doesn't make any sense. Can we assign different visibility threshold to the sleeper AI?
