---QUOTATION--- My bad, you should get by completed second quest ammo poch and your pistol . It's very hard you need look for Artefact container somewhere in cordon,It is somewhere in the South not far away from cordon(It's translated from google tranlater). I did not find it so I cheated that part, I edited trader files so I bouht that quest item from the trader . ---END QUOTATION---
You aren't kidding I can't find this anywhere south of the military checkpoint. The googlish text from sid gives no clues, the quest text says "south of ATP" which is a big area and I've had zero luck.
The thread on the AMK forum has several people asking this question so we aren't alone, and they all get beaten down saying "read the text carefully" which of course doesn't work at all for us once it gets fed through google. |

So after taking a break from AMK NS and playing this for a couple of days I have some comments. I've manage to progress through the vanilla story up to just entering garbage.
First off the game does not appear to be compatible with steam; I've been unable to get it to run with my steam version. I got it to run with my standalone 1.0004 install that I've been using for AMK NS. I have the mod + patch + save cheat installed (no way I'm playing stalker with limited saves, too easy to die to random unluck).
First off, the install that racermate linked that installs a gamedata folder is a substantially different version of the mod than the version pseudostomp linked (with the 11/4 patch applied). The former is very dark like Lurk 1.1, has far more anomolies, and has geared the NPC's a bit better. For example the bandits in ATP in racermate's download all had sawed off shotguns and a couple had stalker suits, in pseudostomp's they all had pistols and bandit jackets. Most of my comments will apply to pseudostomps version.
The economy is simlar to AMK NS in that most useful things are bartered for rather than bought. It's even worse than NS in that you get less stuff for the trades. Everyone either gives you less or wants more. There (at least in Cordon) are also a lot less artifacts laying around. This plus the very limited carry capacity is going to ensure that the player stays resource constrained for a while.
You get a fair amount of cash but once you buy your basics (binoculars, sleeping bag if you want it) you won't use the cash for much in the early game. The ability gamble is neat but you lose often enough that it's really pot luck. And you cannot reload to try again as it remembers you did that and stops you from gambling for a while. I like the way they've changed the vanilla story, it's more plausible now.
I was never able to find the artifact crate with the night star in it, I ended up changing the scripts so that when you get the quest it spawns the two items in your inventory. I can put this up as a "mod" if people want.
The ATP bandit fight was fun, but in a special Olympics sort of way. All I had was a pistol with the 1 reload pouch. That made me really flail, I'd kill a bandit then run around a corner to reload my pistol and pouch. Of course all the bandits had just pistols too as did 2 of the 3 stalkers that were with me. The only sawed off was from the leader of the stalkers that you talk to to get the mission started. It was a nice change, actually giving the feeling of some total noobs in the zone fighting for territory. And of course since the bandits all had crap it meant no upgrades for me just cash.
I took nimble's "get the suit" mission and ran off to get the suit only to discover there are hunters there and they go hostile if you try to enter the tunnel. And I cannot find a dialog path on any of them that gives you a quest that would let you in (you do get a transition point from talking to them). This is OK in and of itself, except nimble's mission has a 2 day timer on it. Not sure if keeping these guys alive is important and no way I can do it with just a fort-12 (I have the AK-74y that you get post bandits but no ammo for it other than what came with it). Watch out for timers on missions, don't take them until you can actually do them.
The "save fox from the dogs" mission is bugged, he says to help him but the dogs never show up.
The one knock on it I see so far is that I haven't been exposed to a lot of extra content, I don't know if it's all further into the game or not.
Grahics are amazing for the SoC engine. |

I'm not sure but you need to pay them 3000 rubla to let you through. Next time is the amount bigger. And when you coming back you need pay them aswell, some random mutant parts for example, you can choose.
Dark Valley is a great place to buy very cheap ak74 ammo, one clip is just 200 rublas, no limitation, so I filled my bag about 600-700 bullets, it's good for close combat only.

I had similar problem with other mods sometimes, happends rarely.

Hehe , I installed save cheat because I didn't notice any fireplace in first underground level to save my damn game, what the hell?
