Hmmm... I appear to be unable to edit my original post. How annoying.

The Meatgrinder

I stared into the flames of the fire-pit, thinking of nothing. I was in that nicely loose mood I always vaguely remember, around the 2-3 bottle mark. I yawned, and slowly staggered to my feet, almost knocking over The Hamster in the process.

"Watch it man! You nearly spilled my drink then!"

"Piss off."

I made my drunken way to the cabin, and my sleeping mat. I was all bleary eyed, but as I moved, I saw something out of the corner of my eye... a small shadow, just a tiny movement, up on the hill. But surely Kolya was up there? On watch? I checked, and sure enough, there he was, a shadowy figure in the distance.

The shadow moved again, and this time I was sure I saw something - a glint from the firelight, something metallic. In an instant I was cold sober.

I ducked quickly into the cabin. Two stalkers in there, one a rookie, one I had never seen before - probably not a "Darker", us hunters from the Dark Valley, a whole different kettle of fish, we are. The rookie was playing his guitar, real quiet like.

"You two, there's someone, or something, sneaking up on us!" I hissed, grabbing my dragunov from it's accustomed place above my sleeping mat.

"You two got your weapons with you? Torches? I think Kolya is already down. The other two are still sat around the fire. I need to warn them!"

60 rubles? Thats barely even worth the bullets he used. 30 rubles is even worse, they'd be lucky to even get a loaf of bread after their ordeal
---END QUOTATION---

Worst is you got 800 Rubles and a NPC's say he got a Gauss Gun and you pay the 800Rubles and he not got the gauss...

Thankyou. Not sure when you started reading - I just added an extra bit. (Edited it twice now). I was getting a bit bored of other people' stories that went basically like this:

I pulled up my gun, a heckler and cockface S600 GtX 50000 with a Super Duper mark 52 silencer, a "See4miles" sniper scope with optic lens and red infra bla bla bla bla bla...
---END QUOTATION---

*Whistles innocently*

...I have my reasons!
