we need Ak47/akm's and to have handgun's have more use by haveing them trun up before full it get full of Assault Rifles.

---QUOTATION---
be unimpressed if a machine gun was added only to be a runaround deathomachine. You shouldn't be able to sprint with them, nor should they be at all accurate when you aren't crouched. They should be used to clear out bases and to be close quarter room clearers.

my to and thay need to be as have as in R.L. E.G. RPK-74 5 kg on bipod
we need to have a biger choche of shotgun shell's incendiary round and we have to
have the USAS-12 shotgun or a AA-12 the aa-12 is 7.3 kg with loaded 20-round drum but it has aselective semi-automatic of full-automatic fire as a late game/money blower gun
jackhammer's are just to rare only 2 working full auto prototypes exist but we can have the jackhammer mark 2 (no change but it give us an loop hole to have it in game) taken up by say the merc's or the army.

Dragon's breath shell's can give us a 3-5 second bust of flame up to 30 ft
and Bolo shell's The round is made of two or more slugs molded onto steel wire. When fired, the slugs separate, pulling the wire as a kind of flying blade.
or flechette shell's effective to ranges of 150 meters against combatants wearing body armor. Flechettes, with their high sectional density, were ideal for penetrating rigid or soft composite armor poor wounding.

I would like to see the m14, mac-10 and a Vulcan Cannon Chaingun.
---END QUOTATION---

M14 is nice looking. Mac-10 would be ok as it is basically the same as an Uzi & the game does need another SMG. I just *hate* how that stupid gun looks is why I vote Uzi.

And what... you're going to carry a black hawk around... set it down, jump in & start mowing stuff down then jump out toss the black hawk in your back pack & be on your way?

The M61 Vulcan is not a human transportable weapon (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:Vulcan1.jpg) & someone walking around shooting some thing with one is just another hollywood gimmick.
I take it there have been attempts at making a human transportable one however, to my knowledge, none has ever reached production so the chances of finding one outside the designer's secure facilities is very very low. (Wikipedia says: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/XM214_Microgun)

Plus it doesn't fit the canon of stalker; you'll notice even the military units there don't even have a single .50 caliber machine gun (well there might be an active *** near the end but I dunno for sure) let alone a higher caliber machine gun.
The M61 is on that'll have to stay to the more non-serious shooters.

I think you are missing the point here. I might be stating whats already been said, but i don't care. The guns in game, for the most part, are supposed to be crappy and inaccurate. If anyone has actually fired a real gun, especially a full auto, then you'll understand that you can't hit a damn thing at a half decent range. Doesn't really matter what time period these guns come from they all use the same principle. Long barrel with firing mechanism, pull trigger, firing pin strikes bullet cartridge, primer goes off, gun powder explodes, pressure from the explosion is directed into the rear of the bullet because the pressure has no where else to go, and bullet roars out of the gun. Modern or old it doesn't matter, about all they can do is try to cut down recoil, and that usually limits shot power away how...

This game has been give all kinds of respect for a shooting engine that makes sense, for the most part. No Hail Mary Fry-Cry like single shot to the head from half a kilometer away with an M16. And no guns that cannot be fired from the hip or shoulder safely. Even heavy machine guns like M24 can only be fired safely if you were sprawled out on the ground, never from the hip. If you want to be able to do that go play Halo, BF2, or FryCry.

If the guns become unrealistic, then so does the game...

Who you replying to to which comment? I agree the weapons should remain realistic myself... I'm not a big FPS fan because most are generic junk & Stalker isn't. I was saying the Vulcan is a very dumb idea to want.. that's someone who worships Doom talking I bet.

I myself have only fired "2" firearms... odd 36 & about a 17 gauge shotgun with bird shot in it. Was combo standard hunting setup, single shot break action. Recoil was non-existent... even though I passed my practical before I must have looked very stupid firing that rifle as I took a very heavy stance. Effective range was only a couple hundred feet I think... wasn't hunt just target practice. Any comments I make on automatics are based on how you should handle a firearm, the specs & comments in layman documents & such as automatics are illegal here as they are in many places. I do plan on tracking down the legal equivalent of that M14 for my area now.. I like the look of that gun.

Some more smg's in diffrent calibers would be a nice addition and perhaps one or more shotguns since there are very few of them around.

A light machine gun or a couple of battle rifles would be a welcome addition since there arent that much of those in Stalker...

Dont really need another assault rifle since there already are plenty of those already, some more mods for pistols would be nice a revolver or two wouldnt be that bad either...

A couple of more grenade types would be nice like smoke, flash&bangs, incendiary either hand or launcher versions...

I have to disagree. Sometimes more weapons does not make a better game. Uusually having more weapons makes the arsenal confusing, cumbersome, and takes away from development efforts in other areas. In Rainbow Six 3, you had countless weapons, but they were all pretty much the same. Assault Rifle Version 1 is not much different than Assault Rifle Version 2 and that makes the game just seem bulky. Hell, you're already starting to get some of that in STALKER. Has anyone even used the Obokan? Why would you use it if you have so many alternatives?

The point is, the last thing this game needs are more assault rifles. I would prefer more monsters, or more varied weapon types. A flamethrower would be cool (though impractical), as would an actual light machine gun (M249 SAW, or PK machine gun). A machine pistol which replace your small sidearm would be nice as well.

We don't need more guns, we need more varied guns. I don't want to fumble around with an AK-101 and an AK-103 and count the tiny little lines that say "oh this gun fires 10 rounds more per minute but does .1 less damage per round).
---END QUOTATION---

Agreed. I'd hate to see STALKER turn into Weapon Porn or just another Gun Simulator. Weapons should be included for a reason, be it thematic or for variety (practical, and tangible) not just because you can theoretically buy the gun somewhere in the world today or because "X GUN IS KEWL CAUSE NAVY SEALS USE IT!!!"

Sorry for the bump, but i have a list of weapons i think would fit perfectly into the game.

Pistols:

Tokarev TT33 7.62x45mm (CCCP)
Stetchkin APS 9x18 Makarov (CCCP)
Sig P210 9x19mm (Switzerland)

SMGs:
Skorpion vz.61 32.ACP (Former Czechoslovakia)
PPSh 41 7,62x25 mm (CCCP)

IMI UZI 9x19mm (Isreal)
Agram 2000 9x19mm (Croatia)
TASCO 7ET10 9x19mm (Ukraine)

Rifles/Sniper Rifles/Shotguns:

VEPR 5.54x39 (I've been wanting this gun in STALKER ever since 2004, the Ukranian Military are gonna use it from 2010, so all soldiers in the Zone should be walking around with it) (Ukraine, duh)
Kalashnikov AK-47 7.62x39mm (Why was this cut from the game? It fits so nicely) (CCCP)
Mosin-Nagant M1891 7.62x54 R (Russian Empire)
SKS Simonov 7.62x39mm (CCCP)
Saiga 12 12 Gauge (Russian Federation)
