Grass textures location? (making a hi-res grass mod)

Grass textures location? (making a hi-res grass mod)

So i'm about to make a hi-res grass mod, since the grasses even for the modded versions are very pixelated and ugly. But unfortunately i'm not having much luck with that.

Currently i'm trying to mod Lost Alpha, so it might be a bit different than modding the unmodified game. I downloaded its SDK to take a look, and most grass textures seems to be located in textures/det. So I changed most of the grasses there, but there's no change to any of the grasses.

I also changed grasses in textures/trees, no change either (i'm in the very beginning of the game).

I did have luck changing the texture for the reeds, and as a test, i also changed the look of the trader, no problem there. So my game does seem to override and read custom textures properly, so it's not the problem..

Any ideas?

build_details.dds is anything that changes based on the grass density slider basically

Hello .Related to the grass textures.I`ve been playing NS OP2 for some time and I`ve gave it a darker feel(mixed Autumn Aurora 2 textures with Stalker Soup textures) except for the grass wich does not change and I reccon that either AA2 doesn`t cover this aspect or it`s a bad path configuration.I`m interested in vanilla grass location and names(I think NS is using the same textures and location).I just want to change the coloring of the grass cause it looks like sht with the new texture pack.The joint pack2 can take more than 600 hours to beat and it pains to look all the time at this flawed aspect.PLS
