have found the car to drive to darkscape. the one indicated - but cant enter car

There is no prompt when trying to open the door on a car, simply move close to a door and press 'F'.

I'm sorry, I mean no offense, but this just sounds so funny... This is what gamers have come to nowadays, don't know how to enter a car and haven't even tried to open a door.

You can only blame modern games for this trend where you just have to push a button to do everything.

To be fair that car in the monolith base has terrible bloody handling. It took me five attempts to get it out of the damn base because of a bloody corner and it would end up on its side.

I thought it was a Niva, not a Robin Reliant.

Reliant Robin - 'Robin' is the model name. Widely known as 'plastic pigs'. Bought mostly by coal miners who thought it would be better to have a roof and one more wheel instead of a motorbike in winter. Quite possibly the worst 'car' ever to go into production. Definitely one of the most dangerous.

Reliant did make one decent model - the Scimitar. Still plastic, but it had four wheels and a 3.0 litre V6 engine.

Pity the Soviets never made any good cars.

Why are there no Zil limousines in the Zone? The KGB must have had offices and staff in that area.

The famous helicopter footage of someone flying almost over the hole in reactor 4 was supposedly shot by the KGB.

There must have been at least one Zil too contaminated to drive out. Maybe some mod will have one in the future - be fun trying to get that monster around the Zone. Enough room for your own faction base in the back, too.

IMO it's more likely they ordered some poor fellows take a chopper trip out there for some footage.

to op: car usage is explained in the manual, which has been included with the base game, and with all the 3 patches so far.
