Best way to go back to Pripyat after finishing the game..
When the game ends you are back where you started at first; I need to go back to the room #26 at the Hotel in Pripyat where I left all my stuff, so, any suggestions on the shortest way to get there???

Not in my game. Cordon to Darkscape is the only way to leave Cordon in a vehicle without leaving the road when the military don't want you to. At the Garbage transition you have to go off road around the vehicle barricade, and the southern transition to Rostock Factory has its own blockage.
EDIT: the three cans of fuel will just about do if you're driving the Moskvitch. If its the tractor then you'll need more like 30 or 40.

I find it possible to drive a jeep from Cordon through Garbage then to old
Bar location then to Army Warehouse from there to Pripyat outskirts then to Pripyat city.It can be done with 2-3 cans of gas. Haven't tried it in a car, may not handle the off road courses too well in Garbage. |

Thanks guys for all the suggestions, it was straight forward, long way but I made it, the bad things is when I got there most of my stuff disappeared, I don't know how, but any way; now my other problem is to find a repairman to fix my Seva, so far I went to the two bars and nobody there to do the job; any ideas ????

No repairs or upgrades on free play...
I just finished checking everywhere and I found out that there is not repairman left after finishing the game Petrenko is still at Bar but if you try to talk to him the game crushes; unless somebody have a different experience.

I've been in free play for several game days now... Skinflint in the Pripyat outskirts will do repairs as well. You also have Fox in the Cordon. And there is still a special trader in Pripyat City. |
