Wolves?

Where do wolves make their dens in Cordon?

I've checked out every spot where pseudodogs hang out.

The only place even slightly linked to that clue that I didn't check is where Wolf stood in the cellar at the very beginning of the game, but there's only one of him and its 'wolves' the clue refers to.

What am I missing?

Okay, I surrender.

The corpse you find near Sid's bunker in freeplay that has the 3 location clues - is the safe the clues lead to only accessible by attacking the military?

I've looked everywhere other than in the military base in the south of Cordon and the building occupied by soldiers at the Garbage transition. Is it in one of those places?

Are the contents worth attacking the military for?

You don't have to attack them, just walk in and have a nice conversation with the commander while pilfering his office.

If I step off the road I'll need a fair bit of ammo. The military are no longer the nice, cuddly (+900) 'friends' that they were when I was helping them at the NPP.

So it is in the base in south Cordon, is it. Hmm. Well, I doubt there's anything in it that I don't already have examples of, so I hereby adjudge it not worth that kind of bother - a bit like the 'Leap of Faith' stash.

Had the military not reverted to (-1300) enemies when freeplay kicked in I probably would have taken a look.

I'm in free play mode as well. I was still able to walk in and calmly go to the left to visit with the commander and steal the payroll.

I'll give it a go and see what happens. The same thing might work in Rostock Factory - there's a stash in the military-held building there, too.

EDIT: Tried it. Took a lot of effort to get through the hail of lead and grenades to reach the safe. Sadly, by that time I'd forgotten the combination. I'll not bother with the stash in Rostock Factory - too much lead in the atmosphere makes it hard to see and breathe.

What's in the safe, anyway?
