As far as I know, it's not possible to make your own combinations. You can't drag and drop artifacts in the merger menu. |

Well, they glow pretty good at night. You could use them for decorative pathway lighting. |

They can be used as a landmark: if you are getting lost in an underground tunnel a lab or anything thats looks like a labyrinth, drop some parasites behind you it will give you some help if you get confused about which path to take. |

I used this technique on my first playthrough, especially in Yantar undergrounds.

I walked 100 meters, got completely confused about the way to go, so I put Parasites at each turn... I found my way out easily, but I didn't saw any Stalkeress: I got caught in a big sucking party, but it was only blood-related. |
