It seems a waste of space opening a new discussion for every small problem or doubt that one encounters while playing the game so I'd suggest this thread for inquiries about walkthrough details and generally "stupid" questions.
Here is one of mine: a friend who's much further into the game than I am says that the storyline won't take you to two of the maps and that you can probably finish the game without actually visiting them mandatorily: Construction Site and Forest. Is this true? And if it is does it have to do with the game not being completed 100% at release?

Those 2 maps aren't invovled in main quest, but have some side quests related to them.

Hey, in the southwest part of the Forest map there's a group of buildings surrounded by a wall where some bandits are stationed. There also seems to be some underground rooms or tunnels. Is this area part of a quest or just standing there?

There is a repeatable quest for the bandit compound/mine that occurs later in the game.

Thanks, I love exploring new areas but I'm also afraid of killing NPCs who could become important later in the game. (like the Sin guys in Cordon for example). That's why I'm asking these semi spoilerish questions.

If you check all of X10 you will arrive at the other side of that door.
