A Run Through STALKER

Hey all its me, your local lithian lord, with a new project I am starting. After reading many of these great fan written stories of the Zone, I started to want a story of my own. Now I could simply pull up in my chair and write out a zone story with some pre-made charters (The Zone: Life and Death is the best story I have ever read BTW) and continue on with stories and made-up events. But that got me thinking; the Zone is a living, breathing thing that has infinite stories to tell and events unlike previous ones.

So my idea is simple and quite honestly has been done many times filled with good and bad. What i want to do is basically a "blog" of me doing a run-through of STALKER. Now what I want to do is make it as realistic as possible to keep the Zone just the way it should be. I don't want to just play the game, I want to experience the most realistic experience in a video game I have ever done and chronicle it in a sort of blog-type layout.

Now I have already set up my game with mods (Amk+arsenal+graphic enhancers ect...) and changed variables in those mods to make a "super hardcore mode" of sorts that resembles real life. I have already done a playthrough for reference and I have never been so cautions and panicked in a video game before.

What I want from you guys (if you are willing of course ) is suggestions and ideas that would help bring life to the experience and story. What characters would you be interested in seeing, if I die do I get to reload or is death permanent, what should the character's end goal be, ect...

Any and all comments welcome!

Playing a character through to death is a good one - how would you do it?

Two ways

1. someone finds a PDA with a diary on it
2. the dead character is actually telling the story - so its first person- but who is he telling the story to? well it could be like a typical ghost story where a ghost/strange at a fireside/campsite its telling the story and is gone in the morning

Old ways of telling it but still effective

Honestly I like the second one and would plan to do something like that. I am always interested in stories that begin on the lines of "this is the story of my death; a death that could have been avoided like most things in my life..." or something to that effect.

I just feel that apart of realism is the fear of death, something that would have to haunt me as much as my character.

Exactly what I was planning to do! A picture does paint a thousand words after all.

Each word should be at least 3 characters long.
