No, 92fs man. The FACTOID about the OTHER SENSES becoming MORE PROMINENT is NOT TRUE.
---END QUOTATION---

Wow, the senses DO become more sensative...I guess you dont know any blind people...Or any deaf people...Or maybe you are just plain ignorant. The rules of biological sensory perseption apply to EVERYTHING...And if you loose a sense...The others will become sharper.

I am a psychology major. A very large part of the biopsyche curriculum is sensation and perception. Just trust me on this one. Your tried and true, long time, intuitive, pop-culture, pseudo-psychological, mass filtered belief about the blind and their senses is false.

Hmmm, perhaps you are correct, granted you have credentials I do not; And also, maybe it is my own perception of sensory loss that has led to the skewn notion of sharpen senses.

Then I shall lay to rest the farse that is Senses becomming sharped after sensory loss.

Hey, atleast you helped guide me to an enlightened end, and for this...Thank-You

Yeah, you're welcome. Maybe you ought to re-evaluate your argument style. I don't know about you, but if I was suddenly thanking a man for enlightenment, who I just called a dumb-ass two hours ago, I'd be searching for a crowbar to pry the shoes out of my mouth.

I thought a Sorry would dissolve that?

I tend to get a little aggressive to strangers who disagree with me...I guess a function of thinking that has allowed me to challange many aspects of peoplesstories.

Terribly sorry that I've been short and Rude.
There's no harm in a mistake

No, buddy. I don't really care what you do. I don't know you well enough to respect you to really care what you think. All I'm saying is that you would probably get more out of these conversations if you loosened up a little.
