SweetFX and Anti-Aliasing

I understand that AA in ShoC is broken and you need alternative methods of forcing it. I tried doing it in Nvidia's control panel but I get artifacts in text screens and sometimes an ugly shimmering with textures when moving. I heard SweetFX offers the best, most visually pleasing way of forcing AA in Stalker. How do i go about doing this? Also, is AA also broken in the two expansions, CS and CoP? Thanks for any help.

First of all, AA in SoC is not "broken" at all, it's just a fairly simply (and fairly bad) approach of implementing AA in a game.

Second, any external AA approach will affect texts as well and generate more or less unwelcome side effects.

If you want to use SweetFX for AA you should check the release notes / readme / community section of SweetFX.

And there are alternatives, such as MSAA / SMAA / FXAA and other DLL injectors, you might want to check those if you got troubles getting SweetFX working properly.

And CS and CoP both don't use SoC's AA implementation.

Ahhh, I see. So what's your recommendation and settings for a nice looking AA injected into SoC? I'm not too concerned about performance hits since I'm getting a GTX 1070 next week. I'm playing in 1920 x 1080 resolution on an Asus 120Hz gaming monitor with a native resolution also of 1920 x 1080. I'm planing to do a complete playthrough of the series starting with O.G.S.E. 0.6.9.3 before moving on to almost vanilla CS & CoP with just the community bugfix patches. Never played the two expansions before but have played SoC 1.0005 vanilla, which is why I'm doing a playthrough with an overhaul. I gather CS and CoP won't need an AA injector and I can use the native ones.

Brussels enb preset from Autom Aurora 2 is the best out there for me.

http://enbseries.enbdev.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=14&t=2008&start=100

Only found the preset in the full mod download

http://www.moddb.com/mods/autumn-aurora-compilation-mod/downloads/autumn-aurora-21-by-autumnal-wanderers

And there i only use the data->enb->dll folder.
