Just abandoned a CoP SGM game where I had over 60 billion Rubles invested with the bankers. Just started corrupting all the saves, so nothing else I could do.

My feelings exactly. The interest had just started rolling in at 4 billion each evening. I was hoping to overtake Billy Microsoft. Now I'm having a holiday in Lost Alpha. I may try again afterwards.

I always do hardsaves after 2-3 quicksaves, but does it mean that all those saves I've sent you are foobar? God, that would be really painful...had such a situation at the doorstep of CHNPP in SHoC. Still I can't believe that there is no way to activate one small script via console command Damn, all my time spent on checking every possible inch of map, my car, my cash, all of my stuff...puff.

Sorry to say I don't recall hearing of this, so alas I can't help.

Hope you get it sorted okay.

Let me know if not, and I can see if I can find a save-game that's anywhere close.

I can see how frustrating that will be - I have a large accumulation of hard saves because of previous experience (it really is the only way to progress if you spend an hour in a level, pistol a dog at close range - and the game crashes with a 777 OOM whoopsie)

I haven't tried Henry 1491's pack nor the S3rious stuff as of yet and have only tweaked the files in a "cosmetic manner" to fix suit iconography - and a couple of teeny 'mods' to the anomaly_fields.ltx and the zone_zharka_static.ltx files which provisionally "get things working like it says on the box".

I know that the scripted blowout you referred to works as advertised because I've recently done it with all of these 'tweaks' and there's no 'Deedee lockout' that sometimes happens if you play as Duty member.

Only one car in this game though, the Moskvich from Darkscape which is pretty much the mobilestashbox. All of the others are still on the board in situ.

Drop me a line if you would like either a save on Radar 10 meters before the Countryside exit, or the Countryside incar save.
The latter is about halfway to the Boars so things are about to liven up. y

Ouch.
I had something like that happen in CS on an early 1.5x patch. Got to the big shootout at Army Ware, crashed and the saves progressively developed "software rot"

A real downer, you have my heartfelt sympathies and commiseration.

A similar sort of thing happened i LA 1.3002 when I was trying to get back into Countryside from Radar and kept getting a 357 error (I think) but I eventually workedaround from the autosave with lowest static settings.

I know about that Duty related bug, however I'm liked by them and not a member of Duty (but maybe something is bugged on my side as both military and monolith are enemies towards me but they don't attack). Well I suppose that all my stuff is gone and at the moment I was stuck I was in 70% of the storyline (maybe?) I think I'll try to join Monolith now, and yeah that save from Radar (if you're not hostile towards them) would be nice, thank you!

There's a metric shedload of tack in this Moskvich..
No need to stop and take the free one on BCR..
Monolith are non-hostile truce (I paid the "squeeze"
Loners are 490 neutral (looks like I screwed a couple of tasks.
Ecologists are Friendly and trade accordingly.
The Mils will leave you alone -100.
You're a member of the Loners/Stalkers
Freedom are +250 so neutral.
Bandits hate your guts.
NEVER visited Sin (waste of time)
You have all "enlightered" data to this point anyway (X7 not done yet)
You are tooled for a countryside run and an investigation of the underground ..
If you don't like the Fort 16 and the very accurate AKm 74/2 there is a selection in the boot.
It is July the 6th.
Don't forget to "Find something for Kruglov"
You have a Flame artifact in the 'cooker' and a 40kg backpack.

One thing springs to mind.
Iff you use the savefile from me which I know works to that point, I would appreciate some feedback on the following possibility:

You will quickly wake in Lost Factory. None of your gamefiles have been altered in any way cosmetic of otherwise in methods that I have outlined in "Community fixes" (q.v.)
Have a look on top of the tunnel where the ammo box is found (both in SoC and here) and give FB on what you find.

[Logic]
The game was initiated on my machine where zone_zharka_static.ltx HAD been tweaked to accommodate Dez0wave's chosen rockspawns with a non-zero Crystal coefficient as a (semi-spiteful) test value.
My contention is that this 'Burner modfix' is principally incorporated into the game at inception and that subsequent spawns are dependent upon "usergamefiles".

The inverse corollary is one that I am currently testing on my seriously crappy rig, where I have reloaded a previous game gamesave where Burners gave only Droplets and Green Parasites, into an effective environment where all of the intended possibilities (plus Crystals) are feasible, but any respawns are a function of the (original) parameter (hint - about one grain of artifact per terayear)

I don't expect any spawns.

But YOU should see all of this game's remaining in place spawns. You WILL notice a difference if that's the case.
I'd appreciate a heads up on what you do see, is all.
