Well, as far as I have discovered,... you pick up some AKm74 loot, shove it in, (keep it in your inventory) double click the RepKit to open it up, and tell it which one to repair or salvage.

Works three times then it dematerializes and pops off to an alternate Zone.
Doesn't work on any other weapons afaik in its current coding.
Has a very annoying habit of presenting only ONE world model aspect if chucked on the floor for a photo shoot.
None of the Devs seem interested in answering zone-shattering minutiae as this either...


Exploiting 1.4007 DC as best as I can. I will NEVER, EVER use a "cheat pack" - a game lives or dies on its gameboard. Best of luck, stalker...

I think they were intended as quest items.

[spoiler]Close to end game Ghost uses explosives. I guess Marked One was supposed to deliver them to him.[/spoiler]

And the instructions weren't on the back of the box??

Works fine for other weapons too, at least on those which were in game, not sure about others which were modded in since the release. The main thing is, you need to have more of the same kind, so they can be savlaged in order to repair the one you want to keep. The alternative is if you take the gun to a repair man, then no need to have more of them.

Thanks for clarifying that Dez. I shall have another try with it using other weapons further up the food chain. I take it as read that it will not operate on uniques? I ask from the standpoint of having (legitimately) acquired BOTH sniper Obokans earlyish in the game and it would have been really nice to repair one with the other...

Other point, RepKit works three times then evaporates from inventory, right?

Yes, could we have a quest where this 1kg dynamite box is usable, (pretty please)
