Guys, you heard a joke, about that as from the ship of NATO wrote down conversations on the Russian destroyer when loading rockets?
Whether it is easier for you to find the normal emigrant from Russia or the translator who will translate a voice of the Main Character?

Translation

1st go at translation in post 2 of download thread + install instructions

Comments:
1. The introduction to the game uses a series of "cards" to describe the game (Russian dialogue and text). I do not know if these are images or actual translatable text in some SCRIPT files
2. Notice that information on tasks/quests is also provided on pieces of paper that you may come across or be given. These can be viewed but are in Russian. For example almost immediately at the start of the game - after talking to the first NPC who gives you a mission you pick up a note. This is meant to be read and then it gets disposed.
3. SMS messages are critical to the game and this will likely require translating some SCRIPT files (I assume)
4. Importance of understanding and remembering (non-texted) dialogue ... don't know yet.

These cards are under folder textures /intro,
in a video file

intro_foto.ogm

It would be nice to have the relevant texts, as too long to type it all!

Progress Report

Have been playing this mod using only the machine translated gameplay and text files so far. Once you get the hang of it, it becomes very enjoyable - even with the restrictions of language.

So far:
1. Have found that spoken dialogue is not crucial for tasks/quests. There is enough in the text boxes and PDA mission information to progress.
2. There is some information - mainly side quests - that are not registered on the PDA or marked on the map and must be remembered from the text dialogue.
3. Will need to start looking at translating SCRIPT files which contain new inventory (new weapons, food items etc,) descriptors and SMS messages (which are important triggers in the game).
4. The game requires thinking and subtlety and stealth as much as action.

Once I've (hopefully) progressed a significant way into the game and am more comfortable with the flow I'll do a replay and notate actions which might form the basis of a guide.

The effect of the "flute" is well done, but I don't know where to destroy the 13 bat (in the closet?) no indication...

Yes ... ambush by controllers. If you go to the body after it speaks and do not move nothing happens. If you move away you get trapped by controllers. Did you notice that if you walk around in the building next door the body disappears from your bioradar? What do you think has to happen with the controllers because it is impossible to escape? Is it just a trick or do you need to do something?

From my translation I think the rats/bats are supposed to be near a pile of debris in the Industrial map ... not this map where Peacekeepers are. Does that make sense?

I am trying to translate some of the SCRIPT files. They have important information on using the camera ... and also for SMS messages.

And yes,like you,I translate all the text I can,I also noticed that at every important moment there is a voice, as if the actor was thinking-really good-, this should also help, what a pity that we can't subtitled it all!

This mod is a marvel, (however there are some alignments weapons review)
but what a game!Splendid!
And so addictive!Love re re re discover Stalker with mod like that!

I am currently updating StalkerDialogHelper because there are some differencs with some of the files in both Alternative and Photograf.
 
Each word should be at least 3 characters long.
