Man that sucks. I had hoped you got that sucker beaten.

We still go to check-ups with our son once a year.
He has been out of treatment for nearly 5 years now, luckily without relapse so far. But I still get anxious every time we have to go.

I am not a religious man, so I will not say that you are in my prayers, but my thoughts, and best hopes and wishes, are with you.

A S.T.A.L.K.E.R. does not retreat or surrender. Keep the fight going.

TS - thanks man, and funny too - haven't heard that track in ages. It's nice to be back in the south, though... I feel "normal" here

But, everyone, doing better is, as of right now, subjective. I just got my follow up results from my doctor this morning, and I appear to have relapsed with cancer again. We need to do another type of scan to prove there's metabolic activity, but it's 95% probable. So, it looks like I'll be going back into treatment again in the near future, and then on to transplant...

Which, totally sucks. It means I'm not going to be able to do real work, as I don't currently have a locked-in job, so I'm going to end up having to file disability and such to financially make it through...

On the other hand, with not having "real" work to do, I guess that will fully open my schedule for stalker modding in between medical stuffs.

Always a silver lining, eh?

Glad to hear you finally got out of Cali and all it entailed.
Your FB page still has you there. This Song is all for you:

---QUOTATION---
Thought I'd give this a little update...

Been a while - as I last mentioned, finished treatment and such...

Then met someone, moved to San Diego, California for about 6 months, got sick of the place, and moved back to the east coast recently. Currently going through medical follow-up routine, keeping my fingers crossed there's nothing to worry about. In the midst of trying to find a job so I can get back on my feet financially after a 2700mi move and drive (not cheap in any means). But, pushing forward, as usual. If there's one thing I've learned from STALKER, is that we don't give up when we cross an anomaly in our path - you just find the safest way around and through...

So, I'm not forgotten, I haven't gone anywhere... though, y'all might lose me for a while when Thief 4 finally hits shelves (sorry, but out-right taffer by heart here, as I've written numerous posts about showing "stealth" fully working in STALKER, lol). But, I don't intend to give up on the zone, as it hasn't yet given up on me...

... though, I do need some more 9x39 rounds and a couple more bottles of vodka... anyone looking to trade?
---END QUOTATION---

Marked one still alive....that's good

Was thinking about you last week, wondering if you still were around
That is one hell of a relocation, how is the medical follow-up going, and do you have to pay for it yourself in the USA?

Thanks, everyone

. . . and, with any luck, it'll stay beaten this time around. Twice is two times too many as it is, lol.

Besides, y'all know how hard it is to keep a stalker down, eh?

Much respect for a man that can beat cancer...twice!
I hope you are doing well. STALKERs are strong.
