Stay back from the cell gate, let the professor go through his whole dialogue, then just watch. It is a fairly long scripted event in order for you to get out of the cell...

Here is a compilation I have been working on for OSLM just for my gaming experience. If people are interested though I can upload it, but there are still some small bugs, nothing game breaking though (unless using steam). Take a look at the mods added in and the things I changed. I give all credit to the original modders and I apologize if I incorrectly accredited someone.

I have also translated the readme notes from OSLM and the addon by MgVolkolak to read better then a translation from google (see below). My main objective was to get the feeling of the game a little closer to CS and COP, overall I think I have achieved it.

Old Story Line mod Ver. 1.1 by ZUBR14:

Information was taken from old builds (2215, 2205, 1935, etc) to restore the main plot that was cut from the released version of Shadows of Chernobyl.
• Restored four locations (Dead City, The Secret Lab, Generators and Warlab) along with their missions
• Restored mission cut scenes, dialogue and a few other surprises
• Fixed some bugs of the original game and balanced some additional things
• Restored some cut mutants and placed them in strategic places that make sense in the zone
• Some cars can now be driven to help you travel faster in the zone

Changes in addon by MgVolkolak:

•Adjusted many files for increased difficulty and realism (weapons, monsters, NPCs, actor, etc)
•NPC's throw grenades
•Extended quest lengths, so it is easier to complete them.
•Tasks are not given automatically anymore, you must speak to NPC's now
•Sleeping safe spots and sleeping bag areas now appear through the zone, indicated by a flashing icon
•Reworked NPC's speaking and telling jokes.
•Time speed reduced by half
•Enhanced damage given from anomalies
•Cleaner corpses
•Sprinting has been totally reworked
•New zombie skins by Domestos
•Helicopters shoot more accurately
•Rebalanced trade and weapon sales
•RMA Texture Addon
•Breakable bulbs by MacroN
•NPP loading screens included by Domestos
•And much more!!

•Repair MOD used from OGSM 2.2
•COP Use Item Sounds by MrSeyker
•Russian Audio Mod from 1.0006 provided by imperialreign
•Ambient Audio Overhaul by imperialreign
•Weathers used from STALKER complete 2009 based off of Panoramic mod by Argus
•Photorealistic Zone by Argus
•Photorealistic Creatures by Argus
•Less generic STALKERS, rookies and bandits by jrmy
•A compilation of 7 new NPC models by Lex
•New Petruha model by lambdist
•A few other misc. NPC models and textures by unknown Russian modders
•Shadow of the Zone texture compilation by unknown Russian modders
•Blood of the Monolith by Steph
•Clear Sky Lost Suits by xRatx
•Particle Enhancement ver.3 by EggChen

LiquidBronze's changes:

•Bizon is now being sold by Sid
•Benelli sawn-off is now being sold by Sid
•Protecta is now being sold by the Barman
•PKM is now being sold by the Barman
•Repair MOD translated by LiquidBronze
•All shotgun types now go into slot 1, except for the TOZ-34
•Bizon and MP5 now go into slot 1
•Created unique icons for new NPC's and some quests
•Updated and arranged inventory icons to correspond with CS and COP's icons (i.e. anti rad pills, bandages, hand radio shows correct inventory icon and much more)
•All items now have descriptions
•Build 2215 Inventory GUI updated (original by dezodor)
•Actor no longer regens health
•Updated old builds main menu
•New main menu music from the Russian movie STALKER
•Minimal HUD, no minimap, no character indicator
•Green stamina meter added to main HUD used from AMK 1.4
•Radiation meter added to main HUD used from AMK1.4
•Danger icons for bleeding, radiation, etc... updated to reflect the icons from COP
•A flashing green house icon will appear in the upper left hand corner indicating a sleeping area for a mattress or sleeping bag
•Changed the prices of all artifacts, medkits, antirads, and bandages to offer more of a challenging economy
•Added in a hand radio that can be equipped for immersion, original mod by ФеНиКс
•Portable gas tanks and toxic canisters can now be carried and have descriptions.

I added a bunch of guns on this one, complements the hard work others have already put into this mod, thought some might be interested with these little extras, it does add some new interesting perspectives, military have been issued with some heavy equipment, you'll start feeling it very quickly. I've easily added the "zombie_5_strong" type references to the acdc.pl file, however towards the end of the decompile the following error occurs -

'unknown location of the alife object"

Yeah, LB. Upload it somewhere. I'm looking for another SHoC mod to replay and I was told that OSRM is good. Your version looks very interesting.
