OK...it has officially kicked my ass. It always wants to start a new vanilla game.
Does anyone have a method of install for this, maybe I'm having a brainfart ??
I know by default that the game wants to install into C: but I've directed it to my F: drive, I'm pulling at straws here w/ this.
What about the -noprefetch -nocpubinding?

Install all the three parts in a random directory, make sure all three are installed in the same though. Than go into the gamedata directory you get and into the config folder, find the localization.ltx file and delete it. Than just copy the gamedata folder in which you deleted the localization file and copy that into your stalker folder. use the -nointro and -noprefetch things and it should work. Now get to killing stalker

Badaboom Badabing...That was it. Thx for that. Yes...and now I can relax and get to killing again.

I've noticed that when I add to much ammo in the ammo slots is when it'll CTD. I wish I can send the error log but the bug trap hangs and I've got to end XRay w/ task manager. If I can get the error I'll post ASAP.

The ideal amount of ammo to have in your belt is 90 bullets so keep that in mind when playing

Artifacts get you quite a bit of money in this mod, here's me selling some of the artifacts that can be found near the Rookie Village:

That screenshot makes me really leery of this mod. One of the things I really like about Narodnaya Soljanka is the barter economy and the way if forces you to manage resources for quite a while (hell forever as far as I can tell if you want to use 9x39 ammo). Seeing all that cash coming from artifacts and seeing all the stuff you can buy from Sid it seems like the economy in this mod is broken.

Not quite the economy is very good, as weapons/armor degrades rather quickly, so you get to spend alot. And the things Sid sells are quite OK for the region as most rook's have AK's

Thanks

Check the Char Desc files and find Nimbles section and read his Visual line, it will tell you in that.

So anyone tested this yet, is it any good?

it's a very good mod, with great graphics and nice models for weapons, etc

even-though I'm playing DX8, it still manages to look nice

it's got a bunch of maps, most of which I've visited in Soljanka, unfortunately there's little-to-no A-Life in these sections, but there are heaps of anomalies and radiated areas, etc.

Limansk was interesting enough, but with no A-Life, it just felt... wrong

I'd still recommend this mod for those of you whom are interested in the game-play experience of this, rather than exploring the new levels

unless, of course just exploring them, as they are is enough for you

wish I had some of these weapons in Soljanka and especially these loading-times, but alas

I'm playing Soljanka on the side and even-though they're not completely comparable, they are still rather similar in some aspects

anyhow, great find and interesting variety
