Story game! Everyone join in!

So a long, loooonnng time ago, I used to play a forum game with some old clan buddies. It was a fun one involving a very hilarious story and allot of forum posts.

Basically, someone would start off the story with a few sentences, such as...
"Once upon a time in Amsterdam, I was drinking with my friends when all of the sudden..."

Then the next person would pick up the story, using whatever they wanted. I suggest we start something like that, but with Stalker games being the backdrop. We won't follow the games story or anything; we will make up our own story. But the known still applies, The Wishgranter, all the weapons (including non vanilla weapons), faction wars, levels from all 3 games, other characters, anything not directly dependent on the story(s). Pretty much anything you could access from a "freeplay" state.

We will start the story off with the main character being a Russian criminal trying to run from the law (Someone else can think of a name. :] ). He comes to the Zone with a GSH-18 and a knife. No knowledge of the treasures, or threats, that the zone has. He arrives in the

Rules:
1. Don't do anything drastic that you could not do in the game. Ex, no flying, taking direct shots and surviving, instant awesomeness, and be conservative with the rewards from missions or looting. Every now and then a rare find is okay. But leave that for later in the story.
2. Keep your posts somewhat short, they don't have to be 1 sentence, but don't do more than a paragraph and a half, about 8 or 9 sentences. Try and do about a paragraph. You can play out a long fire fight, but let a few other people get in on the fight as well.
3. In the instance of two people posting and following up on the same post, the first one listed takes the cake.
4. Don't ruin someone else's set up. If they leave you with something very good don't just end it by unleashing a bazillion mutants on our nameless Russian badass.
5. Quite possibly the most important rule, GRAMMER!

I'll start off, if you're intrested then please keep the story going!
Otherwise let it sink into the forums.

I was kicked awake, the smell of diesel strong from the bairly running truck, by the man I paid to sneak me into the Zone. All I knew about him was that he was a "guide". The small military squad that I assumed was on his payroll as they helped us sneak in, started giving me dirty looks. The guide saw this and told me, "As soon as you get 100 feet away they turn into your enemies" "uhh right" I said. I walked through the hole in the fence, loaded my GSH and thought What the fuck am I doing here?.

The guide lead me amother 200 or so metres down the road and told me of one of the most important places in the zone. "My criminal friend continue down this road and you will see an old farmstead they should help you. Now farewell Voddik I doubt we will meet again." Just like that he left and I was left alone in this unknown land.

I walked down the road towards the farmstead. I tried to talk with one of the 'guards', at least he looked like a guard. I told him that I'm new and all that then he quickly replied "Talk to Wolf, the guy with the AK behind that house." while pointing towards the wrecked, old house.

The man with the AK looked rough as he saw me approach he asked "what's your name" in a gruff tone "Why's it important" I replied.
"You want to be a smart ass go and play in the nearest Whirligig I have more important things to deal with."

I said: ''Sorry, but I don't want to tell my name.''
He replied : ''Well,whatever,what do you want,rookie?''
''I was looking for a mission.'' I replied,looking around.
''We need to rescue a stalker, called Nimble. You could help us.'' He explained. I started to move, slowly. I checked my pistol, and I wondered how can I go to the camp.

I was walking off and Wolf yelled after me "where are you going you don't even know where the mission takes place." "Old man" I retorted "I don't need guidelines or rules I go where the wind blows, I said I'd like a mission never said I would accept yours."
"You stalker are lucky the wind is blowing away from this camp so you better go follow it and I better not fucking see you around here again."
As I left the village his radio went off and all i heard him say was "send him up."
